The curtains ripped open, making the exhausted girl groan.
"Kyran, what the fuck?"
"Y-You need to get up, Myra, it's our first day of school."
"No, i'm tired."
"I told you not to go to that party last night! Now look at you, hungover and exhausted."
Myra scoffed and sat up, knowing the boy is right, "Fine, i'll be downstairs and ready to leave in a few minutes."
The blue haired boy nodded and left the girl's bedroom. Yawning, Myra ran her hand through her shoulder-length hair a few times until she deemed it good enough. Next, she scanned her wardrobe and picked out a black oversized jumper and a green checkered skirt. She half tucked the jumper and put on a green headband and a silver chain. Lastly, she put on her white socks and trainers.
Myra started making her way downstairs. Kyran was already waiting for her at the door and he smiled widely at her.
"Don't look at me like that." The brunette chuckled, opening the door and leaving with the boy, "The only reason you want to leave so bad is because you have the hots for my sister and you want to see her."
Kyran blushed a bright red and looked down, "S-Shut up!" He hissed. Myra smirked at him and said nothing.
"I could always tell you know who about your crush on him-"
Myra gasped and stopped in her tracks right outside the school doors, "You wouldn't dare!" It was Kyran's turn to say nothing, he just turned and grinned innocently at the girl and made his way into Yandere High.
The girl turned to face the school and took a deep breath. Gentle smile, shoulders back, face forwards. Confidence is key. The words repeated in her mind like a song as she walked through the corridors. People turned their heads at the sight of her, some in a friendly way to greet her, some in a jealous glare.
Myra walked confidently to Language 120, almost squealing at the sight of at least one of her friends, Magia, sitting at the back with an empty seat next to her. The brunette smiled widely and waved at her friend, sitting next to her as calmly as she could manage.
Mr Draco had to restrain from rolling his eyes when he noticed two of the most popular girls at school in his class. However, when the girls entered his class late, laughing hysterically, he actually did roll his eyes.
Myra's smile faded from her face as soon as she saw Gold and Funneh entered the class. Deciding the just block everything out, the girl started daydreaming about her crush. That was until the bell started ringing a few moments later. She gathered all of her stuff and was the first one to exit the small class.
The rest of the day was like a blur. Actually, it was a blur considering her sister and Funneh blew up the science lab, causing Myra to feel disoriented the rest of the day. The brunette didn't concentrate on any of her lessons, something odd for the popular girl. She sat on the bench outside the school, waiting for Kyran while trying to find her green lighter with her right hand. She held a cigarette between two fingers with her left hand.
"Here."
Myra looked up from her handbag, seeing Alec with his own lighter, lighting her cigarette for her. She gave him a half smirk half smile and leaned back against the bench. Her left leg crossed over her right as she took a puff. Exhaling the smoke in relief, Myra smiled again and said a confident, "Thanks."
"No problem." He muttered before looking behind Myra, suddenly walking away.
The girl turned her head to look around in confusion, her face dropping at the sight of Kyran glaring at Alec, then at Myra. He shook his head in disappointment, causing Myra to get up and walk home without him.
