NESSA (AT HOME) 6:50 am _____
"Nessa wake yo ass up and get tf down here" my mom yelled
"Man, what tf do she want" I said rubbing my eyes
walking downstairs I seen a policeman standing in the doorway
"Nessa Johnson?" he questioned
"yeah" i said confused
"You're under arrest for the murders of three people" he said turning me around
"What i didn't kill anyone" I said frantically
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you." the officer said reading me my rights before putting me in the car
"don't say anything Nessa imma call your dad and meet you down there" my mom yelled from outside the car
all of a sudden everything felt as if it was moving in slow motion i started feeling tears form in my eyes while looking out the window watching the trees blow in the wind and the kids walking to their bus stops.
10 minutes later the car comes to a complete stop and the officer lets me out the car leading me into the building. he took off my cuffs as I looked around watching all the people's movements until I spotted someone who looked familiar but couldn't quite paint out who they were
"Right this way ma'am" the lady at intake said snapping me out my thoughts
I nodded following her. intake took about 30 minutes to complete but once i finish they escorted me into the interrogation room
"Someone will be in here shortly" the lady said closing the door back
i sat down placing my hands on the table wigging my thumbs Tryna think of ways to get my story straight
"Goodmorning ms Johnson" the officer said coming into the room with a cup of coffee
"Goodmorning Mr .. wright" I said reading his badge
he sat down looking at me "so why did you kill them three people"
"I didn't kill anyone"
"Explain why your prints were all over the body's then" he took a sip of coffee
I shrugged
"You killed them you know you did" he said loudly
"I want my lawyer" I said bluntly
"Why do you need a lawyer if your innocent" he blanky looked at me
I shrugged
"Well thank you for your time" he got up and walked out the room
I gave him a thumbs up making him roll his eyes and close the door. feeling my leg start to shake up and down I felt tears cloud up my eyes again then the whole room went black
_____ A couple months went by after what happened, Von moved in with Nessa and are currently in the process of looking for an apartment. (they finished school) _____
I jumped out of my sleep feeling tears fall down my face I sat up taking along deep breath
"You had that dream again" von questioned
I nodded leaning back against the headboard
von sat up wiping my tears "it's gone be alright I was just a dream alright"
Truth, is I know it's just a dream, but the guilt is eating me up
I nodded and he pulled me onto his chest rubbing my back until I fell back to sleep
i let out a loud sigh rolling over feeling von wasn't there anymore. i walked into the bathroom brushing my teeth and washing my face before heading downstairs seeing my mom and von in the kitchen talking
"good morning sleepy head" my mom said
"good morning" i said grabbing a piece of bacon off of von plate eating it
"y'all got walk throughs today?" she questioned
"yeah we have a couple actually" i said
"oh okay that's good" she nodded

"nene come on bro" von said walking out the door
i rolled my eyes grabbing my purse walking out the door behind him
"you go learn to stop rushing me" i mugged him getting in the car
"ian go learn shit" he said pulling out the driveway
"boy fuck you" i mumbled
"when" he questioned
"right now" i said rubbing his print
"mane stop playing wit me" he laughed moving my hand
"mhmm" i hummed
5 minutes later we arrived to the first apartment getting out the car, while we was walking up the stairs i felt a sting come across my butt
"stopp" i smiled walking in the apartment
"thick ass" he said walking in behind me
"ou it's nice in heree" i said walking around
"you like it ma?" he said
i nodded looking at the kitchen

"so which one you like best" von asked after we got back in the car
"umm i like the 2nd one the best" i smiled
"ok that's the one we finna get"
