Chapter Three

11:30am

Keith was up and dressed. He was downstairs where Kyle was. He was just chuckling at his phone. "Who you texting?" Keith asked as he grabbed some Coco Puffs.

"Jaxxon. He funny as hell" Kyle said

. "What's crazy he's never dated a boy" Keith said. "Oh he in good hands" Kyle smirked.

"Light skin ass nigga" Keith said.

"So who is taking you" Kyle asked.

"Carl." Keith said pouring the milk and putting it back. He grabbed a spoon and sat down at the table.

Keith sat down and started eating and there was moment of silence between the twin boys before Kyle broke the silence with a question.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what?"

"About you know... Him" Kyle said, referring to their ex step dad.

"Well I didn't need you to worry," Keith said.

"Why I'm yo brother," Kyle said.

"Because I know you get pissed off to the point where you black out and you would've killed him. And Ion need you goin to jail. We got one more year left of school." Keith explained.

"Well why didn't you tell mama?" Kyle asked.

Keith slammed his spoon in his bowl and groaned out of frustration, pulling his face down. "Bro, he's always around her. He was watching her like a hawk. Anytime I needed to tell her something that has nothing to deal with him. I didn't wanna be near him because the shit he did. I will never get over how he did me. I'm not even going to accept the fact he stole my v-card. In my eyes I'm still a virgin and I wanna give it to someone that I can trust and love. But obviously he didn't want that" Keith said, with tears in his eyes.

"And what's so fucking funny I loved him like a dad. But you know what he didn't love me like a son obviously because who the fuck rape their own 'kids'?" Keith ranted with his voice breaking up and tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry" Kyle said, pulling him into a hug. "I just wish my pops was still alive." Keith cried.

Yes Kevin is not their biological father. His biological father's name was KJ. KJ was short for Kaden Jr. He met Kira when they were in Middle school and started to date during eighth grade year.

Kaden was a very funny person. He was the school clown. But he was smart individual. When he found he was having twins of course he was thinking of names that started with a K'. So that's where the K's coming from.

But when Keith and Kyle were five their father got into a bad car accident that caused him to be in a coma for eight months and later passed due to his injuries. Just a week before Keith's and Kyle's sixth birthday.

Kevin was Kira's best friend so a year after Kaden died she married Kevin.

And that how it was until now.

"Keith what's wrong" Kira asked.

"Nothing mama. Just.... I don't know. This is too much" Keith sighed wiping his face.

"I know baby I know. We will get through this. Okay" Kira softly said, holding her son's face.

"Okay" Keith said, grabbing her hand.
