Reborn as nightmare but different

first death and reincarnation

A boy was walking back home after school with his childhood best friend they were neighbours since they were kids and there families was close friends as well so they grow together one was max and the other was Chris they were chatting a bit while walking they were planning to play Minecraft once they reach their houses  "then we can kill the dragon " max said as he already had a full enchanted gear "you have you god gear I don't well I do but it need fixing  because it will break soon "Chris said quietly max was used to his friend tone as he was usually silent except with max "well you better do it fast while I prepare myself " max said he is probably going to need more Endereyes first anyway "don't forget the water buckets " Chris commented then they both chuckle it is a pain when they forget the water buckets they kept chatting for a while mostly max starting conversation since chris is usually 'shy' to the point people think he is mute as he is very very quite and isolated most the time he learned sign language for fun and so did max and now they use it for silent conversations"you really should try to talk more instead of listening " max said "nah " max kept trying to convince chris of talking more until they reached the crossing area as they were making their way to the other side they didn't notice the truck coming fast towards them until it was too late the truck driver didn't stop to see the boys he hit instead he rushed to get away as people started gathering around the two children they were already in a pond of there own blood one already lost his life due to the impact while the other was still slightly breathing or in his case taking his last breath his eyes were opened but foggy he also couldn't make out what people around them saying but it didn't take long for the ambulance to arrive as they tried to save the still breathing boy that's when he got swallowed by darkness as his eyes closed

After a while the parents were informed of what happened to there children both max and Chris parents rushed to the hospital the news were heart breaking for both families as Chris mother broke in tears and her husband tried to hold his tears as he tried to comfort his wife whom just lost her son as for max family his mother and father were in disbelief their son was still alive but his condition is very bad to the point he could die in any second not to mention he is stuck in a coma

"Truck drivers should really be  banned from city roads " the doctor mumbles to himself that wasn't the first time a truck driver taken someone life this week he sigh as he left the two families be he can't really help them after all one lost their son while the other don't even know if their son will die or wake up

Meanwhile

Chris pov:

I felt myself floating i couldn't open my eyes no matter what i couldn't fell my body either i remember a flashing light and then darkness i guess i died so is that after death? "Oh poor child you were too young to die" i heard someone say i wanted to ask who they were but then they continue talking "don't worry child i will give you a new life an interesting one for sure it might be hard but whatever choice you make will change the outcome now rest cause soon you will be some different" the voice stopped talking as i felt myself loss consciousness

the next time i woke up was by a female voice she told me?

No there was someone besides me a golden fire ball but i realized i was also a fire ball but instead of golden i had purple glow so i assumed i was purple then i realized we were on someone hand it was green that's when i realized the voice source i guess she is our mother now she had green skin tone and darken green hair with  two tree branches that looked like deer horn i then focus again on her voice talking to us i don't know what she said before but she called me nightmare so i guess that's my name or is it the other one next to me then she said something about protecting a tree and keeping each other safe and how she had to fuss with the tree to keep it alive that's when i realized she had a huge scar on her body and was bleeding badly she said something about giving us bodies and then i lost consciousness again

3rd pov:-

As Chris now named nightmare finally started to wake up after god knows how long he slightly opened his eyes only to shut them again due to the blinding sunlight he was just going to sleep again as he was feeling tired or that's what he wanted but he felt someone poking his left cheek so he opened his eyes again instead of blinding direct sunlight he saw a skeleton in front of him with golden eyelights staring at him he rubbed his eyes in disbelief only to notice his hands were made of bones he realized he was a skeleton now as he was staring at his own hand the other skeleton spoke "cool right here let me help you stand " the golden skeleton said as he held his hand up to help his twin up who he took it and got up "I am dream You must be nightmare my twin brother right?" He said cheerfully he only got a nod as an answer "can't you talked talk" dream asked nightmare "I-I can b-but i-" he stuttered dream got what he meant rather quickly "oh that's OK you don't have to talk" dream said with a smile if his brother doesn't want to talk then he will let it be even if his brother voice is rather soft the two spent the day together they agreed to let dream be the older twin as he woke up first they also played tag making sure not to go to far from the tree by the afternoon they sit under the tree and dream kept talking about the stuff he saw while they played and before nightmare woke up while nightmare just listened quietly he had to admit dream energy reminded him of his old friend something is telling him that they will meet again one day
