Odd roommate

A ridiculous Start

You'd think that getting a transfer Student as your dorm roommate wouldn't be so bad, yet everything went the opposite of how it was supposed to go. the plane took way too long to land and I waited for so long only for this extremely tall guy to suddenly show me claiming that he is Mathew. 

I can't believe someone called him Matty instead of his name, but when we finally reached campus, we both walked into the dorms hand in hand."I hope you find your dorm, it looks like a pretty nice place," I said while trying to remember my directions to the dorms,

 "And I can show you mine if you want."I was happy to see him smile at me, "yeah sure!" He gave my hand a small squeeze as we got closer to the door. It looked pretty much exactly like mine. 

 I felt awkward as it would be weird if my friends saw me holding a guy's hands, they would never stop calling me gay if they caught me holding his hand.

 it says on his profile that he has separation anxiety and can't handle being by himself as it may trigger some of his trauma or even his anger issues I'm glad that my dorm isn't too far from Mathew's dorm since I had to make a right turn when going up two flights of stairs. 

Mathew's dorm seemed to have no problems with stairs, he opened the door without waiting and walked in first. 

I followed suit after shutting the door behind me. There weren't a lot of people around but there were a few students that were sitting in the common area. 

They didn't seem bothered by our presence though since it was just us so I decided not to introduce myself to them. 

 "Hey, Josh!" I hear someone call my name causing me to gently push the gentle giant into the room and close it before they would reach me. 

 "uhhh....hey Chad," I said as I met him, I remember the first time I met that flirtatious goofball.....he had a wickedly handsome face with blonde hair and blue eyes, he was mean at first but I soon later found out he was only messing with me. 

He laughed before wrapping his arms around my torso and pulling me towards him giving me a quick kiss on the cheek while Matthew gave him a soft glare as of he was trying to assert dominance. 

 "Don't worry Matty babes. I won't take him away unless I have his full consent" he chuckled as he patted Mathews's shoulder, his glare not changing one bit. 

"oh thank god" Matthew sighed relieved and I could feel the tension leave his body, 'is there something between you?' 'do you know each other?' 'what's going on between you two?' These questions went through my head as I continued to watch the two interact.

 "Anyways welcome to the dorms" Chad then extended his hand towards Matthew, "I'm Chad" Matthew shook his hand firmly. 

I noticed Chad look a little confused about the handshake before Matt broke eye contact with him.

 "This is Mathew, Mathew meets Chad"Chad then grabbed his hand, "so you must be Mathew, I have heard so much about you, Especially about how you dumped that hot chick out of the blue and caused a whole Gossip frenzy" I could tell Mathew was pissed but kept it cool because he kept glancing at me as Chad spoke.

 He was also very jealous of how chad was looking at me." yes I am." he ignored chads comment and smiled politely as to show he wasn't angry.

 Chad let go of his hand and turned his attention back to me." you're Josh right?" I nodded in response. "well, come on we all have class in about 20 minutes, wanna grab dinner afterward?" um...sure, I guess" 

I glanced at Mathew again, wondering what he thought of the sudden turn of events. Matt then came up and stood next to me.

 "We should probably get going, I don't wanna be late to class, even worse as a transfer student from fucking Florida!" he said, still fuming. I tried hard not to laugh at how ridiculous this whole situation was.
