Two weeks ago, he was called by the head office in Minneapolis to investigate the case. When he arrived, all it was was a lady who was knocked and run over by the same car. The officers Ann and Brian claimed it was a miracle she still breathed.
He had retired from these things cause his family was forcing him into a marriage and for an officer in his middle ages who happened to be addicted to alcohol as well,the last thing he needed was kids and a wife sharing his salary.
But something about this case made him curious, a lot of blood lost but no sign of wounds nor scars. He scrutinized her and indeed, she was pretty one. He questioned why anyone would rather kill her than take her into his bedroom. He slowly dismissed the thought with the caution of 'official duty' . Her eyes were closed as if she were asleep. Yet,no evidence was left at the crime scene:his instinct suggested something amiss having to do with some powerful people. Call it love at first sight or obsession, whichever maniac did this had to pay.
