"Hm, Let's say a 'magician' accidentally left a potion on the desk so Lan Zhan mistook it for water." Wei Wuxian explained.

"Achoo! I swear to the heavenly realm. IS THAT UNGRATEFUL BRAT TALKING THINGS ABOUT ME!? I'LL KILL HIM!" A person shouted and took out a purple whip.

Back With Lan Xichen & Wei Wuxian

"Understandable, was Wanji thirsty at that time? I know my DiDi wouldn't do that without examining it." Lan Xichen asked Wei Wuxian

'Yes, unfortunately, I went too far last night. So it's my fault.' Wei Wuxian thought and nodded

"Mhm, Lan Zhan was thirsty because he got drunk and sang weird songs i haven't heard before. All I know is, it goes  "I save my" or something like that.." Wei Wuxian lied, put his hand into his chin pretending he's in deep thought.

He didn't lie though. This happened one time when Lan Zhan drank Emperors smile one time

Due to his poor knowledge he did not understand what his (future) husband was saying.

Though, he'll know soon after he takes the Author as a hostage because she seems to know the language Lan Wanji sang.

Lan Xichen smiled awkwardly

"Wanji got drunk..? A-Xian, did you perhaps force Lan Zhan to drink…??" Xichen asked and Wei Wuxian shook his head off

"No Gege. I'm just an innocent human being." Wei Wuxian said and Lan Xichen corrected him.

"Innocent demon* A-Xian, Don't tell me you resigned?" Lan Xichen asked. "What? No! Why would i?" Wei Wuxian raised an brow

Xichen hummed 

"No reason. Just thought you resigned for Wanji." Lan Xichen says and Wei Wuxian flushed a bit.

"Eh..?" Wuxian spoke but said something in his heart.

'Tho, i would resign my position. Just for Lan Zhan. I would give my money, my reputation, my position if I needed to. All just for Lan Zhan..' Wei Wuxian says in his heart

The door was then opened revealing Jiang Cheng

"A-Cheng? What's wrong?" Lan Xichen asked with worry on his voice

"It's about Lan Wanji. He seems to be shaking and keeps calling Wei Wuxian." Jiang Wanyin says, Worry on his eyes and both men who were talking to each other stood up and ran to Lan Wanji's room.
