Wednesday, 8:40 pm."I swear to God Katsuki if you get us caught I'm hating you forever." You pulled on his wrist to hold as he takes you out of the dorms.
"You hate me already though?" Katsuki raised a brow with a smirk plastered all over his face. What a douche.
It was a nice evening in the city of Musutafu. The city lights from buildings displayed all around you, while you subtly hold hands. Walking by together on the side walk.
"I assume you haven't eaten so, let's go eat first." He decides for you both, his rough fingers slipping down your palm to hold your pinky.
You can't help but blush at his sudden touch, looking the opposite way from him as you raise your other hand to cover your face. Hiding the fact that you're red and obviously heating up.
But you're unlucky with the fact that he leaned you closer to him, tucking stray hair behind your ear so he could see you better. "The fuck is wrong with you?" Katsuki's words faded into a chuckle, now you can hear the tease in his voice.
"Nothing. Keep walking or I'll ditch you here." Your sentence wasn't clearly heard by the taller one beside you. However, he took the chance to hold you by your waist so he could switch places with you when the road went busier. Making you stand on the safer side.
The waitress from your favorite Chinese restaurant welcomed your entrance, bowing as she guides you both towards the table he reserved.
"You reserved a table? People barely eat here, there was no need.." You sat down in front of him, smiling at the thought yet your furrowed eyes tells that you aren't pleased.
"Hm, but I did. Wouldn't want the best table to be sat by outcasts, right?" He rests his elbow on the table and leans his head on his palm, taking a breath and looks up at you.
"You're.."
His words was cut off when the food you both ordered before hand, had arrived.
Your eyes scrunched in disappointment. What was he going to say? And there it was, the annoying thoughts that filled your head.
Spending time with Katsuki never failed to mess with your brain, and you couldn't decide whether it affected you in a good way or not.
It's just that you weren't used to looking forward for tomorrow, because it avoids you from being disappointed. And you thought that if the future is uncertain, then you shouldn't be hoping in the first place.
But that changed when he arrived. At first, you knew he was trouble. You doubt that a minute of conversation with him would last. As if you would ever talk to him that long.
And there you were, despite the times that he would purposely annoy you, argue with you, and challenge you. Your heart might've acted on its own because you ended up liking that.
Loving that.
And ironically enough, you can't end the day without Katsuki being there to say a word.
"Kira. Are you okay? You didn't answer my question." His head tilted in wonder and worry, making you snap back into reality.
Looking down, you saw all the food that was served for your date. "Huh? Sorry, I was thinking.."
"About what?" His voice was rough yet quiet.
Without thinking, you spoke.
"You."
He froze, not knowing what to respond with that. Or was it really necessary to?
"So thinking about me is such a bother that you chose to ignore me like that?" He teased, picking up his chopsticks to feed you dumplings.
