Chapter 6
I grabbed a black handbag from my wardrobe and threw in my phone, keys, my make up bag and a few notes of money.
"Tell me!" She pleaded while I was looking for my Birkenstock slippers from underneath the bed. I finally found them and we both stepped out of my bedroom so that we can put on our shoes.
"No!"
"Tell me!"
"I said no Tia, stop being so nosy."
"Please, I'm your cousin don't you trust me!"
"Course I do, but like I said before, you wouldn't understand!" I walked over to the room that everyone else was in.
"What wouldn't I understand?" She said curiously.
"Yeah, you tell me Kacey, what wouldn't she understand?" My brother jumped in. He had his eyebrow raised and his arms folded across his chest.
"Kacey claims I wouldn't understand how to find the area under a circle!" Tia lied. Damn was she one great liar.
"Oh, that's easy stuff." He boasted, "I could help you with that if you want."
"No, it's okay." Tia and I both said simultaneously, we looked at each other and giggled.
We both entered the room that we were in not long ago.
"Um, why are you dressed like we're going out Kacey?" My dad asked.
"A-are we not going out t-"
"Did I mention anything about going out?" He interrupted, his voice grew very harsh. This made me a little scared.
"I just assume-"
"Well stop assuming!" He shouted. Very loudly. I heard the birds make noises and flap their wings in fright.
The whole room fell silent.
"Only joking, where do you wanna go?"
I laughed, relieved to find out that he was joking. "What about the spa?"
"I want to go cinema!" Tia argued.
"What? I want to go ice skating man."
"Spa!"
"Cinema!"
"Ice skating!"
"I want to go to the spa!"
"I want to go to the cinema!"
"I want to ice skate!"
This vicious cycle went on for about two and a half minutes or so, and if my mum didn't interfere I'm sure it would've went on for ages, and ages and ages and ages.
"How about," my dad started, "we go to all three? Is that fair?" He threw us all a look, waiting for us to agree.
"Yeah okay." We all agreed.
"But we'll go the fun stuff first then the relaxing stuff last, I think that's a good organised plan." My mum suggested, "and we all know how you like to be organised, Kacey."
"Okay, it's settled then, we'll go to ice skating first, then the cinema, then relax in the spa." My dad said.
"Okay?" My mum added.
"Okay."
"And my loving daughter Kacey will be our chauffeur for the day won't you?" He said while putting his hands on my shoulders.
