Was in a rush to get home, he had went into town to sell some coal, so he could support his family. Nezuko would have went if her mother agreed but she didn't. Tanjiro was helping people with stuff. And he was selling faster then usual, which surprised him.

The people waved him goodbye as he walked away, with a smile plastered across his face. He started walking up. But came across a house. The women waved at him, and signaled him to go to her. He walked straight to her, tanjiro knew he couldn't talk to strangers, but she was an elderly. What could she do to him? Tanjiro then reached her. And she said "come inside it is dangerous to walk alone with all the demons outside." He smiled and went in. He knew the elderly women couldn't mean no harm. So he did as told.

The women then said "what's your name dear?" Tanjiro then said "tanjiro Kamado" he smiled. And the lady nodded and said "time for bed." And tanjiro did as told. But he somehow couldn't sleep. He doesn't know why.
