Sherlock's eyes widened as he watched the countdown for the bomb tick down from 2 minutes and 30 seconds. He made eye contact with John for a split moment before turning around and watching how the tube's lights flickered.
"Oh.." John backed away in panic which caused Sherlock to panic.
"Er..."
"My God!" John exclaimed in frustration as he backed away and scanned the ceiling of the tube, trying to find out a way to get out of this mess. His detective friend said nothing and instead muttered softly, pacing back and forth.
"Can you just..-" Sherlock stuttered with his hand covering his face only to be interrupted by his blogger.
"Why do you never call the police?!"
"Well it's no use now!" He turned to face John, his eyes meeting the ex army doctor's stormy ones. He waved his hand as he spoke, trying to calm the man down. Both of them looked at the timer on the bomb.

"So you can't switch the bomb off??" John began his rant, "You can't switch the bomb off and your didn't call the police!" The blogger stared directly through Sherlock and it made him feel cold on the inside. They stood like that for a moment until John turned his back and stepped away for a moment.
"Go, John. Go now!" Sherlock broke the silence as he pleaded with his friend.
"There's no point now, is there, because there's not enough time to get away and if we don't do this, other people will die!" John argued as he pointed outside of the tube, motioning the distance they would have to run to even attempt surviving the explosion. The detective sighed and looked down at the bomb that was now blinking red.

"Mind palace." Sherlock looked at John and hummed in confusion, "Use your mind palace!"
"How will that help?"
"You've salted away every fact under the sun!" He yelled, his voice raising in desperation. The ravenette looked at his blogger like he was an idiot, his brows furrowing.
"And your think I've just got 'how to defuse a bomb' tucked away in there?!" Sherlock yelled as he moved his arms around sporadically to exaggerate how stupid he thought the idea was.
"Yes!" He responded with a weak excuse for a laugh, looking at the detective in disbelief. The detective went quiet for a moment before shaking his head lightly.
"Maybe.." He lowered his head and pressed his fingers into the corners of his forehead, squeezing his eyes shut as he scanned his mind palace. He grunted in effort and his nose scrunched up--John thought it was adorable but obviously kept that to himself.
"Think." He leaned towards Sherlock encouragingly, "Think, please think." He whispered as he watched the detective struggle with his thoughts. He watched as Sherlock's head twitched side to side as he scanned to find what he needed. He let out a hum that got louder as he continued to struggle, "Think!" John felt himself lose composure.
Sherlock continued trying to scan his mind palace, his hands moving away from his head as he let out a yell and backed up. His scrunched up face contorted into a defeated stare as he looked down at the bomb,
"I can't!" Sherlock cried out. He panted and looked at John who looked at him with sadness. He lowered his hands back down to his sides as the blogger's eyes widened.
"Oh, my God!" John said in an exasperated tone as he turned away from his friend once more. He looked around the tube, ignoring Sherlock who dropped onto the ground in a feeble attempt to examine the bomb and somehow defuse it with zero knowledge, "This is it.."
