Flaming Circus (Chapter One)

"Taking the young like me huh, that's just low.  Now his carriage were could it be, I thought it'd at least look different I mean come on he's rich, not only that but also one of the most famous judges of circuses yet."
"Excuse me young sire, you looking for someone, or something."
"Shoot I didn't know someone would be patrolling the grounds. Hoka thought to himself slowly turning to face the person."
"Well?"
"Oh yeah sorry kind sir I was just leaving to see the rest of the circus, got here a little late you know."
"Really, man and by your outfit you look like you belong in one, must really be a fan."
"Yes definitely, now I really must be going.
Maybe I can get out of his sight, and I think I have a way." Hoka walked pass the person trying to act normal, as he got farther he took out a little golden pocket mirror and aimed it behind him trying to see if the person was watching, once they turned Hoka quickly hid behind the closet vehicle.
"Dam that was close, who patrols grounds at a circus."
"People who don't like little pest like you."
Hearing a man's voice from behind Hoka quickly tried to turn but before he could get a glimpse at the person someone else grabbed him and pulled him back putting a white cloth of chloroform over his mouth and nose. Scared he tries to pull away but can't.
Tears streaming down his face he slowly passes out hearing a faint voice.
"This is what pest get when their in our way."
"We're is he, he should have been back."
"Clam down Aim, he's probably still looking, finding info we need, Kota said trying to calm her down."
"He's right, but if Hoka isn't back by our next showing then we should go look for him. Agreed Maria."
"Aiko got up interrupting them, hey did any of you see Mr. Brazon."
"Yeah he was in the crowd, Kota replied in a worried tone."
"I don't think he saw Hoka, he was to busy watching us, or at least that's what I saw."
"Good eye I couldn't even see him until the end, must be off my game."
"Professor where we're you, questioned Aimi."
"In the audience of course, you guys did pretty good for your first major showing."
"That's not what I meant, like our plan you were supposed to be up in the staging area after we came back here."
"Oh yes that, well I ran into a couple of old friends that's all, well look at the time you guys should get going."
"Hey do you think these Bells look kid friendly, Kota asked putting them in his hair."
"Aimi looked up and giggled, if anything you'll be laughed at."
"Ha funny, Alright let's get this started, Maria you can sit this one out, go look around, who knows maybe a dagger can find a gun, Kota said walking out on stage."
