Chapter 06

[ I'm terrible at writing fighting scenes so I'm not going to write any details because I know I can't do justice to the scenes the animators drew ]

Y/N and Uzui were on the ground, neither of them could move well. The demon poisoned them with his attack.
As shinobis the poison didn't have a deadly affect on them but it still made them feel dizzy.

- Tengen-san! L/N-san! Tanjiro shouted and ran to them
- Oh, You are still alive... But how? Gyutaro said
- Your poison doesn't have any affect on us! Tengen told him with a smile on his face
- HUH?! The female demon said with an annoying voice [ I love Daki but I HATE when she acts like a brat ]

- We are shinobis. We are trained to survive any poison
- What are you saying? Shinobis have disappeared for ages!
- It doesn't matter... I'm going to kill you! The male demon told the two hashiras as he took his weapons out

Y/N took his katanas out but he noticed the purple color on his hand that made his palm tremble

TIME SKIP

Even with Hinatsuru's help nothing could stop the upper rank 6. His poison and attacks are strong.
Thanks to Tanjiro's help the purple eye woman could leave safely and join her wives to save the civilians but after a long fight the two hashiras were on the ground again.
The white hair man had lost eye and his hand the h/c man had lost his one leg and three fingers from his hand he had to cut from the poison. They were badly wounded and couldn't move.

Get up! Fight! I need to save Uzui

In the background you could hear the fight between Tanjiro and Gyutaro. The younger boy has guts, you are giving him that but he most likely die if you or Tengen move your bodies to help him.

Minutes even hours might pass when you stand on your leg again. You used one of your katanas as the leg you lost in your fight.

After a minute or two your friend joined you and Tanjiro to the fight. More hours passed and the younger boy beheaded the male demon... But something still felt off and the sound hashira knew it. He started shouting to Tanjiro to move but from his wounds and unstable breathing he couldn't hear a thing.

You wanted to ran to the younger demon slayer but you weren't able to do that. Suddenly Gyutaro's body explode. He was still alive, this was the power of an upper rank.

That you wanted to died from the pain was an understatement, you wanted someone to end misery but you had a flirty hashira to bring back to his wives. If you could manage to survive you'll be one lucky bastard

[ And because I want to short the chapter and I despise angst, have another time skip after the main trio beheaded the demon siblings 🙃 ]

The fight was finally over. Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma managed to bring you both on a house's roof but you could feel your soul slowly leaning your body. Gyutaro's poison was still hurting you. Uzui wanted to tell his wives his last words but Suma started crying and... like always Makio hit her on the head, Suma started crying more, Makio became more angry and Hinatsuru together with Uzui could only watch.

That made you chuckle. You were happy watching them do their usual routine, you could die happily... But Nezuko, Tanjiro's younger sister would let you! She came and set you on fire? Everybody was shocked by the demon girl's act. Suma jumped on her and shout about how neither of you were dead yet.

- Wait! The poison from my body is gone! The sound hashira said and everybody's attention were on him
- Same here! Her blood demon art made the poison disappear! You said and turned to look at Nezuko to pet her head.

TIME SKIP
[ I'm sorry I just want to finish this chapter to write about you and Tengen's relationship to the next one!😭 ]

Everybody is alive! You are alive! Tengen is alive!

Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru are hugging both Uzui and you to death [ I would be more than happy to die in their arms tbh ]
The three women were crying happy tears

You turned to look up and frowned. Obanai was looking down at you

- You finally decide to come? You said sarcastically to the snake guy
- I see you are alive and you defeated the upper rank. Then let's go
- No! We are quiting. Uzui said to Obanai
The bandage male looked at you shocked

Oh right... Hinatsuru wanted is to stop being demon slayers after we fight an upper rank

- What are you saying?! Obanai asked with anger in his voice
- You heard him. We are not going to continue fighting demons

We are going to live as normal humans for once
