I walked over to it and it opened again, as I read further I realized it was a book on how to speak an aliens language.
did they make this book?
I then felt their presence tower over me.
"I thought this book would be nice to have, I'm not sure what type of books you like to read"
I took the book off of its beam that keeps it floating, I half expected the beam to come with it.
"Oh that reminds me you can take any item and set it there to make it float"
I hummed in response. I took a notebook i saw and set it on the beam and put the book to the side for later.

"You want me to learn your language?"
"You don't have to, I don't think your gonna have much time to learn"
I gave them a confused look hinting that they need to explain further, I thought that meant they were gonna kill me or something.
"I have to return you, I can't just keep you, people are gonna suspect you're dead! We can't have that" geo sighed
When they said those words it seemed as though they didn't want to return me, like they were sad about it. I looked around once more realizing that if I leave I won't be able to see any of this anymore, that thought gave me a sort of empty feeling, I thought about how boring my life was back at home, if I stay I won't have to live under the law, I won't have to pay bills, I won't have to stress out anymore. If they're willing to keep me I could be free from the horrible system I live in
I honestly don't wanna go back home

Wow I never thought i would say that, I sound crazy right now
It was so crazy how I went from being scared shitless to wanting to stay so quickly, the simple ideation of living with an alien was beyond my comprehension.
"geo?" I asked quietly
"Hm?"
Geo looked me with a confused expression
"Could you keep me?" I asked once more
Geo looked shocked for a moment, I expected that
"But you have to.. people might think you got kidnapped or maybe you died or-"
"Geo nobody's gonna notice" I interrupted them.
"Are you sure?" Geo looked confused
I nodded
"But-"
"best case scenario they say I'm dead. Im already here, I don't think I wanna go back."
They thought about what I said as if they were trying to find the right words to say.
"So, you want me to.. keep you?"
"Yes geo" I smiled at there response
They got excited and I heard that excited alien noise once more, it was kinda cute.
"we could write together or maybe cook together or draw together! And-"
"I think I get it geo" I say trying not to shatter their happiness
I don't know why an alien like them would be so excited on keeping a human, that in itself sounds weird.
"May I ask though.. why don't you wanna go back home?"
"It's just better here"
"Ahh.. I see"

Soon enough we ended up bonding, we talked about various things, most of it was me asking questions. We both didn't even realize how long we've been talking, in my mind it was an estimated hour.
"are we just floating in space right now? Like are we auto piloting in the middle of space?"
They tilted there head in confusion.
"Auto piloting?"
I guess they didn't know what that was, or they just don't know what it's called.
"Uh, forget that, are we like just floating in space?"
"Indeed" they nodded
It was weird knowing I was talking to an alien but here I was, as time went on i was slowly getting tired, I only assumed that it was night where I lived but then again my brain could be confused.
"You look tired, I think you should get some sleep y/n"
I nodded at their statement as I got up and almost stumbled over again
"Be careful little one" they said in a concerned tone
"I know, I know" I replied slightly
I stabilized and got into bed with their help, they tucked me in and i felt like a kid. Out of nowhere they kissed me on the forehead leaving me baffled.
Did they just treat me like a kid?
"Goodnight"
I didn't think I would be able to sleep after everything that has happened but drifted right off to sleep.
Im sorry that this chapter took so long
(I'm re-writing these chapters because I feel like I can fix a lot of this stuff but I'm currently unsure if i'm gonna continue this -future author note)
