"What?" Mason breathlessly muttered. He hastily placed his hand to his chest. "There's no...wound?" The dagger where he stabbed himself. Why is it not there?

'No..no..nononononono—what happened?!' He stared at his other hand that was shaking. His heart. It's still beating.

"Why am I still alive..?" He panted. Mason combed his fingers through his hair.

"No—Fuck! Why am I alive?!" Mason yelled as he clenched his grip on his head.

He got up and hastily opened the rusty drawer where the dagger was placed. Mason was confused. Didn't he stab himself? Where was his peace? And why was it 8:07 AM again?

He shook his head from his thoughts. Now was not the time to think of useless thoughts because what he needs right now is his peace.

Mason grabbed the dagger and stabbed himself where he previously plunged the dagger at. Immense pain was what he felt before he collapsed on the ground.

He was aggressively coughing out blood when Oliver quietly opened the and dropped the tray of food he was carrying.

"Young Master!" Oliver cried in distress like he did the first time and rushed to his master.

Fuck. He does not need this right now. As much as he oddly cares about his butler, his peace was what was important right now.

He watched with pain in his body and blurry vision as Oliver had his panic attack like what happened the last time. His heart was aching at the scene he wished he never saw like he did previously. But this will have to do. Even if it's Oliver, he would not stop for his peace. His precious peace...
