This is going to be the new cover for my OC book. Much better looking in my opinion, and hey, I only needed to stay up until 4 am to finish it :D
I took the background from Volume 9 since it was the only background that matched the angle and perspective to a reasonable degree. I just cleaned it up a bit and plastered the two of them on top. You might notice that the leaves are a bit funky if you pay close attention.

These are close ups of his "new design" just a few minor tweaks here and there. Also, he doesn't look perpetually pissed off anymore, so that's a plus.
I removed the earrings and piercings since those are allowed on campus in ANHS for some reason, but the marks from the piercings are still there. Small ring on his right hand, wow I wonder what that could be.
Anyways, feel free to tell me what you think. Is it better than before, or worse. I hope it's an improvement considering the time i ad to put into this. My spine will never be the same again ;<
