Chapter 12

  "Hey songbird, what's wrong?" Letti asks as Katie buckles Addison in her car seat. "I will tell you later." Katie says. "Katie, is Jeremy coming?" MaKenna asks. "Not this time sweetie, me, you and sissy are going on a vacation with some of my family for a while." Katie explains. They drive to Katie's house. As soon as they walk into the house everyone starts to greet Katie. "Long time no see." Han says, Katie runs to him and hugs him. "I thought you were dead." Katie says tearing up. "I had to but im here now." Han says. "Kids this is my family, this is Han, that's my sister Mia, that's Sean, Roman, TJ, and Gisele. Everybody this is MaKenna and Addison... my kids." says Katie. Everyone says hi to the kids, "I need everyone's help. I need all my clothes and the kids clothes and stuff packed up, I have another house no one knows about and it's way bigger." Katie says. "We don't have enough cars to transport all of us." Roman says. "That my friend is where your wrong. Follow me." Katie smirks. Katie walks over to the hall and types in a couple of number and a secret door open to an elevator. Everyone gets in and Katie presses a button, the elevator door opens and everyone is stunned to see that she has a garage full of muscle cars. 

 "How the hell do you have so many cars?" TJ asks. "Well if y'all  came around much you would know im also in the family business. I do jobs like you all and get paid well and I buy cars with the money. So go pick your cars out and that's the one y'all can have." Katie explains.  "Holy shit you have a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429!" Roman says surprised. "Yeah I got that one last year, all I have to say is the 67 Chevy Impala is mine." Katie says. Addison starts getting fussy, "I am going to go lay the kids down while we pack." Katie takes Addison and Makenna to her room and lays them down. "Katie, I have something to talk to you about... if my mom comes back, please don't let her take us. Please fight for us. " MaKenna begged and started to tear up, sitting up on her bed. "Oh honey, no matter what I will fight for you both and I will not let her have you or your sister." Katie says as MaKenna climbs into her lap hugging her as tight as possible. "Kenna, I know I have only had you for a day but you can call me whatever you would like." Katie says giving her a kiss on the forehead. 

  Katie stays with Kenna until she falls asleep, she goes and grabs a large suitcase and starts packing Makenna's clothes and toys. After she's done with that she goes and packs Addison's clothes and toys and takes the crib apart and packs it too. She goes and packs her own stuff and she takes all the suitcases down stairs. "Hey guys, all I have to do is put Addie's car seat and Makenna's booster seat in my car and we can leave and drive to Michigan to the safe house and figure out our plan there." Katie explains. Everyone agrees and then her phone pigs with a text from Downey, "Jeremy just left, just a little heads up, he said he was heading straight to your house, you have about 20 minutes." He texted. "Oh shit guys we have 20 minutes and we have to get gone." Katie says. Everyone gets their cars packed and everything set and Katie goes upstairs and picks Kenna out without trying to wake her up and Han comes in and picks Addie up without trying to wake her up. They take them down and Katie puts them in their seats and buckles them up.
