Fyodor's ultimate goal is to remove all sin from this world, the sins which are so commonly referred to as "gifts". He did not think these things truly were gifts. And if they were, then why did God give him such an unholy curse?

A wealthy young boy Fyodor was, not to mention quite talented as well. However, the poor child had anemia, from which he inherited from his dear mother. Mrs. Dostoevsky was always so ashamed at the fact that her illness had passed on to her darling son. She loved Fyodor dearly, but in the end, she knew that she shouldn't keep the child around.

Due to the effect of Fyodor's anemia, he was very weak, and could very easily fall over at any time. So, he was assigned his own personal servant to escort him to certain places.

On a certain day, Fyodor's parents had asked that he join them in the main room of the Dostoevsky palace. The servant was ordered to bring young Fyodor to his destination. All was fine until they opened the doors to the main room, right that instant, Fyodor and his parents watched in fear as one of their servants had dropped dead right at their feet. Fyodor broke out into a long lasting scream of terror. None of them had known what happened. It took them a few moments to finally regain their process of thought, and as soon as his father did so, he called the police to investigate immediately.

The police came and none of them could tell Mr. and Mrs. Dostoevsky exactly what the cause of death was for their servant. So, there was only one logical explanation that came to the lead investigator's mind, an ability.

The interrogation lasted several hours with each member of the Dostoevsky family, servants nearby at the time were also questioned. "It seems like your son has an ability, sir," spoke an officer on the other side of the table. Mr. Dostoevsky broke out into a full rage, "You dare insult my family in such an ungodly manner?! It is just not possible that my son, out of all people, would have such a wicked curse put upon him by God!" The officers tried their best to calm him down, and Mrs. Dostoevsky could do nothing more than stare at her terrified child.

Eventually, Fyodor was taken for a test, to see if he really did possess an ability, and as expected, he passed.

When Mr. Dostoevsky found out about this news, he felt deep embarrassment. Him and his wife had agreed to take Fyodor to a private center and leave him there just to make sure no one else could be harmed by his ability. They had promised to visit Fyodor regularly, but they never did as they were ashamed of having this child.

"Mother, father, why do I have an ability like this?" Fyodor asked, still in fear. "Well, perhaps it's because God doesn't love you" his father responded in a cold tone. Fyodor looked up in horror, as he saw his parents leaving. He did not move, or attempt to say anything, even though he knew he would never see them again.
