This was the first anime that I got into and really, first fandom I really joined and felt enthusiastic about. I was crazy for the battles and it felt like I was a part of the action, watching people fight with pocket monsters. Ever since I was a little kid running home from school and watching Indigo league as soon as I got inside, I felt a connection. It was never the stories that got me hooked, it was battle and the intensities of them. Fire and water crashing against each other and grass getting involved. Those were the moments.. I wish I could go back to getting hyper over them
