-The next day-
Autumn's pov
The next day was very quiet, no cars could be seen nor was there any talking outside or inside the house. It was like humanity was asleep.
Nobody could be seen, se we thought they where all inside there house but we where dead wrong.
Knowing we didn't do any grocery shopping, we would soon run out of food and start to starve.
"Autumn?" Asked my little brother who entered the room.
"Yes John" I said as I got up from my bed, leaving my warm blankets.
"Have you seen mom and dad...?" He asked worried. "I haven't seen them since yesterday..."
"Well what do you mean" I asked a little confused.
"Well I was out looking for mom and dad and I couldn't find them, so I thought I would ask you if you knew where they whent" he explained.
"Well why don't we go look for the" I ask as a walk up to my brother.
"Ok!" He sais as runs out the door.
"Little kid" I say quietly to myself as I smile and run after him.-time skip-
We looked everywhere but there was nothing!
We looked in the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and even the guest bedroom but they weren't there!
The only place we haven't look was there bed room.
When we walked in the bedroom we expected everything to be normal, we where dead wrong.
Everything that was ever there was burned and falling apart. The plants where dead and broken but our parents where nowhere in sight.
I looked over to my brother and I saw him crying.
"Autumn, who could have done this?" He asked with tears in his eyes.
"I don't know..." I say but I notice something odd.
The bedroom's window was open.
I walked up to the window while trying to avoid the broken pairings and mirror on the floor.
Once I looked out the window, I realized that this virus or what ever they call it wasn't just a joke made to scared people.
It was real.
