SOrrY itS sOO ShorT!! BraIn FaRT. :P

Taima

Tama looked at me with shocked eyes. Geese, how could you be so stupid?  I cursed myself mentally. I didn’t want to tell her yet! I’d have to tell her something, anything. “Uhhhh…. Tama you’re shivering lets get you inside,”

“No,” she said with sudden coldness.

An arm flew out and hit me square on my nose.  She flew out from under my arm, and started to run toward the fields.

“Tama? No! Wait! Come back! I didn’t mean anything by it!”

I got a hold on her shirt but she kept running, making the piece I had rip off. Luckily, it was the bottom half of the shirt, but it was from around the whole shirt.

She’s gonna be freezing, I thought.

۞Tama

I ran as hard as I could, dodging branches, jumping over logs, and even swinging on bittersweet vines that were in my way. I felt the wind on stomach, I cursed Taima for ripping my shirt. I shivered. Tonight was a cold night. I wondered why, It was the middle of August. I kept running until my feet met the ground of a soft meadow. All around me the flowers smelled wonderful. The moon shown down on them making the icy dew that clung to them gleam. The breezes made the flowers sway, making an ocean of glittering smells surround me with comfort. I knelt to the ground, took off my shoes, and just lie there on my back.

I was awakened by the sound of snoring. I opened my eyes and felt my head on something warm. I thought I was in a meadow of flowers, where was I? The ceiling I saw was that of a log cabin. I started looking around. I was on a couch with a fire place next to it. There was a little side desk next to the couch with a big fat candle lit, the flame already disappearing somewhere in the whole of wax it had created. The snoring was coming from Taima who was sitting at the end of the couch, with me lying on the rest of it. Then I realized that I had my head was in his lap. I sat up drowsily. The moon outside was still high in the sky.

“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” said a tiredly pleased voice behind me.

I nodded. Taima was awake. I saw his reflection in the glass. He looked adorable with his messed-up hair, sleep stricken eyes, and sleepy voice. He had his shirt off and had a tattoo on the right side of his chest. I realized then that I had on  his big T-shirt and my shorts from the day before. I still felt my torn shirt underneath the big T-shirt so that was good. I lay back down on his legs, surprised by the warmth. I pulled the blanket up to my neck and looked up so I was facing him.

“How did you get me back here?”

“I carried you,”

“Oh,”

I stared into his soft caramel eyes. I didn’t expect them to be so inviting. He stared back. I sighed. I closed my eyes and eventually his snoring picked up again.

.            .           .

I stood in the middle of a field, the full moon shining bright overhead, a cloud blocking it from true brightness. A black robe billowed around me in an unfelt wind. The water reflected me, the cloud moved, I started to change. There was a bright flash, like lightning, and then, there standing in my reflection was a black wolf. The black wolf stared at the reflection. The majestic creature had a white moon on her forehead. I looked back up at the moon and, I don’t know why, but screamed. But it wasn’t a human sound; it was the cry of the wolf. I realized the wolf was me. I smiled.

I woke with a gasp. Taima was gone from under my head and instead a pillow lay there. I stood up and walked drowsily to the window, the sun was just coming over the horizon. I noticed a flash of black in my peripheral vision and looked that way. I caught sight just in time to see a black tail going into the underbrush to where I couldn’t see.

۞Taima

I woke up with Tama still sleeping on my lap. I took the pillow from behind me and gently lifted her head to switch my legs for the pillow. She rolled over and smiled in her sleep. I wonder what she’s dreaming?  I asked myself.

I got up and walked to the door, taking off my shoes as I did. I felt the power straining in my head. I let it surge through my body as I ran, slowly turning into my true self. I ran out into the fringe of trees, hearing as I went Tama waking up.
