After the incident with capital W Will, I was sent to a small town in Louisiana called Bundellerville. The exchange from the north to the south was miraculous. I enjoyed the south much better.
In Louisiana, I lived with a woman named Caroline. She was 24; 16 years older than Josephine was when I left. There were two other foster kids who lived there with me- phoebe & caleb.
Caroline was beautiful. Her eyes were deep blue and her golden flowy hair resembled the sun. She never wore makeup, yet she was flawless beyond words. I loved her so much, and still would go back to see her to this day- that is if she were still alive.
I remember the day as clear as a crystal. One year after living with her, we were driving on a dusty dirt road, we were in the red pickup truck. There was a wasp in the truck and I screamed. I startled Caroline, and she jumped. The trucked came to a complete turn, and that was the end of her life, my fault.
Eventually, phoebe and I got sent to an orphanage for girls in Washington while caleb got sent to a boys' orphanage.
