We leave the boys to starve for the next few days, tormenting them with the smell of food nearby and the sound of running water next to them. Finally we get to put them through hell, unfortunately it's seven years in the waiting. Make it worth it. I tell myself. That puts a smile on my face, much to the relief of my friends beside me. They were worried about my mental wellbeing I guess, because relief flooded their faces as the corners of my mouth flicked up briefly. I disregard it and decide to question them about it later; we still need to find somewhere to stay as a kind of base otherwise we will wander our way into some thousand zombies by our luck. Luck that has long since abandoned us. Until now.

'Hey, dude, you awake? Liam, wake up!' I hear from the shack we had just left. I stop the girls in their tracks and signal them to listen. 'Liam, wake up, please. Dude, come on.' 'Yeah, Liam this isn't funny, come on. Wakey, wakey, rise and shine... Finally!' I hear Louie and Harry say in a relieved voice as a muffled groan escapes Liam's lips. 'Dude, do you think they will find the bikes?' Harry foolishly comments. What an imbecile I mouth at Kelsey. She giggles as we head to the back of the shack and find three amazing looking bikes. Right after a huge groan comes.from the shack followed by a deafening and distinct 'You actual.thick piece of shit!' A smirk emerge onto all of our faces as we reach the bikes. I had forgot that all of then thought they had their own little bikers crew so they all had amazing bikes. The only things they knew how to do well was pick good looking bikes. Luckily. 'What an idiot! Did you actually just say that! They could still be out there! Well done, you moron.' Liam manages to moan at Harry with Louie commenting and tutting at appropriate points. We jump on the bikes and I go to start mine up, just before Georgie stops me in a hurry. What?! I mouth at her. I need a helmet, you know what I'm like. I'll end up killing myself otherwise! She mouths back at me as if she is screaming at me. I roll my eyes as I look to Kelsey, who had realised what we were on about and threw the only helmet we had on now her bike to Georgie. Georgie beams relief and gratitude before putting it on and waiting to start it up. The last thing I hear from the shack is

'Hold on, I think they've left. Yes! They didn't get the bikes' With that I start the engine, which roars to life. Kelsey and Georgie do the same and start laughing in shock as to how good they actually are. 'Think again Louie. Thanks for the rides boys!' I say and lead off into the forest once again. The last comment I hear from the shack is 'God dammit! COME ON!' We all just laugh and ride into the unknown.

'This is so fun! I LOVE IT!' Georgie screams from the side of me. 'Yeah. This is epic!' Kelsey quickly screams back. I just laugh, pull down my hood and let my black hair wave in the wind. Adrenaline is rushing through my body in a good, enjoyable way instead of running from the dead men walking.

Liam's Point of View:

I slowly wake up from the horrible nightmare I was having. My head is killing me and my face is dripping blood, I think. I can't remember anything that just happened...

I open my eyes to hear the middle of what seems to be an argument. No matter how loud they shout, all I can hear is a high pitched ringing in my head. The shooting pain from my head is even worse now and I can see the blood from my face dripping onto the rope. Wait, rope? I try to move but I can't. They must have tied me here, the little bitches. That's all I can remember, them knocking us all out. don't know whether it's because of the rope or because I can't summon up the energy to move. It's difficult to even breathe so I try to shout. I don't know why but I guess someone will untie me. They don't and my shout sounds more like a growl from a bear or something. O manage to make out a voice from the argument in front of me. '...Finally!' I hear Louie say. Or at least I think it's Louie. I can't quite recognise their voices. Until I remember what happened slightly, the fight, the glare, the comeback, the boot... The boot. They must have tied me here, the little bitches. That's all I can remember, them knocking us all out. Marcelline, I can't believe I used to like her. Really, she's just an arrogant, cocky, know-it-all, stupid little son of a... ' Dude, do you think they got the bikes?' Harry stupidly asks in the loudest voice ever. The imbecile. The actual imbecile. I can't believe him.

'You actual thick piece of shit! What an idiot! Did you actually just say that! They could still be out there! Well done, you moron.' I feel like throttling Harry, just like I want to throttle those three bitches that left us here.

We here them drive off on our bikes, screaming as to how good they are. We were just left to die at the hands of the dead. I can't believe it. I try to move out of the ropes a bit but it's no use. I think it has made them tighter actually. I'm not really surprised though with Marcelline having gone on all those survival courses with...Louie. Who was here with us. I look over in hope and Louie has already started to escape the clutches of these vines, I think they are vines anyway. He's trying to reach something with his foot, but each time he does that, the ropes get looser. So I copy him, and sure enough, they get a bit looser each time. But not loose enough to get out of them. A shooting pain starts coming from my wrists and so I start to do the same thing with my wrists. Moving them in a certain way to loosen the grips of the ropes. It works once again, but I still can't get out of them. I look over at Harry who has fallen asleep by now, and I realise that I've been doing this all night because the sun is starting to come up out of the window. Great, one day and I'm dying slowly whilst tied to a wooden pole. Best way to die ever.

I don't know what to do, I'm starving, I'm thirsty, I'm tired and my whole body is aching from these vines, locking me in place next to this bone killing pole. The thought of death being inevitable is lingering in my mind. I keep praying, not for salvation, but for death to come quicker. Instead, sleep is coming quicker as I'm drifting off into another nightmare. Only this one I can wake up from.

The memories come flooding back, even ones I didn't think I could remember. My life is flashing before my eyes. All the best and funniest and worst memories are racing through my mind. I finally get to the best one before the sound of engines comes back. The smell of petrol floods out the memories. No, what? Why? Why have they come back?...

As I wake up, they stroll in. Georgie carries on strolling towards Louie, twirling a knife in her hand and punches him in the face. Harry I trying to distract them from Louie. Only he does it too well, because Kelsey ends up shooting Harry in the face. I can't blame them really but they have still just killed him. And to be honest he was a friend. A good friend to me. But I wasn't a good friend to him. I look back over at Louie, just in time to see him being punched in the face again. Only this time I hear Georgie say something to him, but it's muffled. I can't make it out. I keep listening, in case it's something I can do. But, just as I think I hear it, WHACK! Marcelline lands a powerful kick on my jaw. I start fading fast, but the pain doesn't. Before I know it, everything is black.

The memories are coming back, and I'm reliving them in my mind. I'm for once enjoying myself. My mind is my paradise, only I rarely visited it. My reputation I had at school, the reputation I had built up for myself. Now, since I have got used to living like that, it was killing me. And everyone around me. BANG!

Now I know I'm on my own. That was one of them pulling the trigger at Louie. Left to die alone and unconscious. Please God, help me!

Marcelline's Point of View:

'Can't see the shack any more, you can get up now Louie.' I tell him. He slowly gets up from leaning on my shoulder. He starts leaning even further backwards until he realises we are on a motorbike, then I suddenly get winded. 'Get. Off. Of. Me. Now!' I growl at him, luckily he obeys and gently wraps his arm around my waist. Not sexually but rather awkwardly. I guess he doesn't like touching girls he isn't going out with. Despite that, he is holding on enough so he doesn't fall off. As we ride to my little memory retreat, Louie starts to recognize his surroundings. So I start speeding up. I can't wait to see what's there. What could save us might be in that tree house. 'Time for a trip down memory lane Louie. Treetop survival, here we come!'
