~Preston's POV~

Today has been horrible.
I most likely failed Math, my family are going to hate me more than they already do.
I'm not even halfway through the day of school and I already want to leave.
This isn't good, I have a German test that I barely studied for, because I was trying to study the Math. Great, when they call out my low grade all the popular kids are going to make fun of me, again.

I walk into the dreaded hall.

"Everyone choose a seat." The principal shouts through the microphone.

I sit down in the first seat that catches my eye.
When everyone is seated, I look around.
"Perfect.." I mutter as I realise I'm surrounded by all the popular group.
A few are horrible, and treat me horrible, but a few are okay and just tag along and don't really cause a lot of mayhem. But they are all surrounding me, and when they call out the grades, they're going to make fun of me for doing so bad grade-wise. Sooner or later, I'm going to get out of this hellhole. Next year, is my graduation year. I'm probably not going to make it to collage. But whatever, I'll see what time has planned for me, but I can already sense it's most likely going to be bad.
A few teachers walk around passing out the assigned sheets. Great, just great. I glance at the sheet and I barely understand it.

"You have 1 hour, half an hour for each side. Good luck" the principal says through the microphone.

~Rob's POV~

"You have 1 hour, half an hour for each side. Good luck" the principal says as her voice booms all over the hall.
Okay, here we go! I'm pretty sure I'll do good in this, I mean I did study for it!
I'm surrounded by my friends, and I hear them whispering answers to each other. But I don't listen because I want to complete this test legitimately, not by cheating.

<one hour later>

"Okay! Everyone put down your pens, time is up! Remember that this test really does matter for your overall grade throughout the year, so I hope you studied!" her voice once again booms throughout the hall.

The bell sounds, lunch! My saviour, I get to talk to my friends finally!

~Preston's POV~

I tried my best, I probably failed horribly. The bell for lunch sounds, and I start to walk away from the hall, and to the cafeteria.

<time skip to home time>

I start to walk toward my locker.
I'm about to break into tears, as if anyone would care. They started making fun of my grades again, and that I'm fat. Wow, I totally need to be reminded that, I only remind myself of it every single day. I turn around for a second and when I turn back around if bump into a guy and all my books fall onto the ground.

~Rob's POV~

I start to pick up his books.

"Sorry dude!" I say, as he tries to smile and mutters "it's fine" but I know it's not by his tone.
I can see a tear almost slipping out of his eye. Could I have hurt him that much?
"You okay dude?" I say, concerned.
I know he was the one my friends made fun of, and I feel very bad.
"N- Yeah it's fine" he stutters and walks away. I feel very bad for him. I couldn't help but notice a scar on his arm when I went to pick up his books. I hope he didn't do 'it', I want to stop him if so. He seems like a nice guy.
