Chapter 3 (Don't Disturb Us!)

(3rd Person POV)

Ayemi took a deep breath and entered the carriage, today was his tutorial with Kyrin just the thought of him messing up was a NO, NO! On the way there he noticed that the fields in the rural cities were getting dry so he used his new attribute Solar photosynthesis to find the root of the problem, it turns out the plants were being overwatered.

Ayemi asked the coachman to stop for a bit, and once he got out of the carriage he ran to one of the farmers and said:

Ayemi: Excuse me kind sir but I think your crops are being overwatered

Farmer: Oh? You don't say well I guess it's because our children have had water fights recently, no wonder the crops look so sickly.

Ayemi: If I may I'm a plant user myself and think that instead of using manure you can try biodegradables.

Farmer: Huh, I never thought of that thanks kid I promise I'll give you some of the produce once it's done.

Ayemi: Then I'll be waiting!

The conversation ended and Ayemi went back to the carriage before he was late, soon he arrives at the front door of the Rogerson's mansion. The door opened revealing the Rogerson family waiting for... someone else their expression doesn't look like it was meant for him, they were more composed and Kyrin was not in the proper clothing for training yet. Ayemi told the coachman to go to the back instead and tell Kyrin to meet him there.

(Kyrin POV)

Ugh, why did the Royal family have to come here at 11 AM for lunch!? I was SUPPOSED to spend the day with Ayemi! I stop my bittersweet attitude and see Ayemi coming up the gate I think he noticed that we aren't waiting at the gate for him cause I saw his carriage go to the back. He really is understanding... (Authors note: Simp)

Father and Mother were worried that Ayemi got the wrong message while I just told them to make up an excuse to the Royal family so that I can FINALLY spend my day with Ayemi. The coachman walks over to me and informs me that he's waiting in the garden, I click my tongue and start walking away. 

While I was walking to the garden I heard someone humming a beautiful tune and I knew exactly who it was. I walk around the corner to see Ayemi playing with his plant attribute humming a song to our flowers, he looked... Mesmerizing. Yes I know I have a crush on him but can you blame me? I plan to make him a Rogerson someday and my parents agree to this.

I just listen to his melodious voice while I walk closer, he doesn't even notice me I smile a little bit 'cute' is what I thought in my head. When I finally approached him he didn't stop humming more like he was humming a little louder with a smile plastered on his face, this made my cheeks blush a tint of pink. He rested his head on my shoulder while I play with his hair a little he's still humming and we stayed like this for a while, it felt... Nice.

But nice things have to come to an end eventually and Ayemi stopped humming and told me to get in proper clothing for training, I told him that this attire is enough and he just giggles. He finally stood up and stretched and as soon as we separated I felt cold again, but I soon felt warmth... In my hand? 

I was caught off guard as Ayemi held my hand and dragged me further into a forest, I asked him where we were going and he just ran faster I ran at the same pace and soon Ayemi slowed down signaling that we were almost there but I ran faster he was surprised but also ran faster. Before I knew it I saw a huge waterfall and Ayemi let go of my hand to show me something.
