Sawyer Pov
I just pulled up to Tabby's house. Imogen asked for a ride and of course I said yes. She's pregnant and she shouldn't be walking to school. I got out my car and walked up to the front door. I was just about to knock when the door opened. Imogen and Tabby stood there. Imogen pecked my lips.
"You girls ready?" I asked. They nodded and I put my hand out for Imogen and she grabbed it. I took her bag off her shoulder and carried it.
"Awe." Tabby said. I playfully stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed. I walked them to my car and I opened the door for Imogen. I helped her in and she kissed my cheek. I put her bag in by her feet. I closed the door for her. I noticed Tabby didn't get in so I sighed and opened the door for her. "Such a gentlewoman." Tabby joked as she got in. I closed the door behind her. I saw Tabby's Mum walk out. I waved at her and she waved back with a smile. I went around and got in on the drivers side. I put my seatbelt out. "Are you excited, Saw?"
"Oh yeah. I've never been to public school. I'm really excited." I said.
"Oh you're cute." Imogen said. I smiled. "And you look great for your first day."
"Thank you, love." I gave Tabby my phone so she could pick the music. I started driving. I grabbed Imogen's hand as I drove. Imogen said she wanted to go to her house.
"Did you know our moms were friends back in high school, 'cause I definitely didn't." Tabby said.
"Me neither." Imogen said. "Well our moms were still friends." Imogen pointed to me and her. "But they stopped talking for a year." I nodded. "And my mom and I pretty much talked about everything. Though she did vague out about high school a bit."
"Same." Tabby and I said.
"Well, I think it's really fսcking brave what you're doing." Tabby said to her. "Going back to the hell mouth that is Millwood High."
"So brave. Hot even." I said with a smirk. Imogen and Tabby laughed.
