'Why am I doing this again?...A right...'

Takemichi Hanagaki is an scholarship student at Harvard. He previously comes from Japan but wanted to study abroad.
The reason for that is his history back there, he wants to leave that behind because what happend in the past will stay in the past
Right now Takemichi studies Psychology in Harvard.
His dream is it to help them who needs the help he needed back then.

Sano Manjiro on the other hand studies Harvard law.
You may ask, how did he came in, like it's hard.
Anyways, his family consists of his grandfather, his older brother and his husband aka Mikey's brother in law, his other older brother, who's adopted, and his boyfriend and his younger sister and his soon to be brother in law aka his best friend.

His grandpa is a traditional Japanese man.
When Mikey told hom he's gay, he hoped secretly that his grandpa asks him to never bring a boyfriend home but now the plot twist.

During Mikey's outing, Shinichiro was already out for about a year and for about a year and an half in relationship with his now husband, Imaushi Wakasa.
And Izana had outed himself too right before he got officially adopted.

So color Mikey suprised when his grandpa starts laughing and telling him, he knew it and that Emma ows him 20$.

Now Mikey had a problem. The last time he visited them, he told everyone that he was in a relationship. Emma asked him if he could bring his partner to her and Draken's wedding and who is he to denies his little sister wishes.
After a while he forgot his own promise.
That was til Draken joked, while their weekly call, (yes Mikey and his friends are having a weekly facetime routine with all their friends) about Mikey black mailing some poor soul into dating him.

"I need your help.", Manjiro Sano said as he sat down on the other side of the table where Hanagaki Takemichi sits.
Takemichis original plan was to do his project in the library. Alone. And in peace.

"By your homework or...?"

"No. I need your help by the wedding from my sister."

"Come again?"

"I told my grandpa that I'm gay, in hope to never ever have to bring someone home or to family gatherings but he was super chill about it because my brothers are also f@gs."

"I'm sorry? But what has that to do anything with me?"

"I told my family I'm seeing someone. That I have a boyfriend and that he comes from Japan, is a scholarship student, that I met him in college and they insists that I bring him to my sister wedding."

"Still. What has that to do anything with me and why are you telling me this?" To say Takemichi is confused is an understatement.

"Can you play my boyfriend for my sister's wedding? I will also repay you."
