Nightmare: The Origin

"Wake up kid, you're gonna be late!" Exclaims Robert, Alyx's dad, as he knocks on Alyx's bedroom door,"You better be ready before I head off to the airport"

"IM UP! I'm up dad" Alyx groans, whilst rolling off her bed.

"Make it quick, I want to see my daughter before I leave for my business trip"

Without a word, Alyx gets changed quickly before heading downstairs to say goodbye to her dad.

"Make sure you're good for your aunt okay kid, I shouldn't be gone for too long, maybe a few weeks depending on if things go to plan"

"I'm not that bad anymore dad" Alyx chuckles "I'll see you when you get back"

"See ya soon kid!"

Alyx waves as her dad walks over to the taxi. She then finishes getting ready and hurriedly leaves the house to catch the school bus.

- At School -

"HEY NAT!" Alyx yells to her close friend, Natalie, as she runs to catch up with her.

"Oh hey! Have you heard the news?" Natalie asks.

"The news?"

"Yeah about that Jess that you... you know"

"What about her?" Alyx asks, curious to know about the supposedly important news.

"Apparently that dickface Jonathan has been blackmailing her with some "big secret" about her dad or something" Natalie replies in a hushed tone "Don't tell anyone though, okay?"

"Oh... uh... sure, I won't tell anyone" Alyx promises.

- In English Class -

As Alyx enters the classroom her eyes immediately lock with Jonathan's and she notices the smug grin on his face. She walks to sit in her seat, which happens to be next to Jonathan. As she tries to move her chair, Jonathan grabs it and prevents alyx from taking her seat.

"Will you ever stop being annoying" Alyx snaps.

"Don't you wanna know?"

"No. I don't, especially if it coming from your mouth"

"Fine... fine. Suit yourself" Jonathan says smugly.

Alyx takes her seat after the unwanted chat with Jonathan and carries on with her classes.

- At Lunch -

"HEY! How was class?"

"As good as it can get when you're sat next to someone with the personality of a rats ass"

"Only tolerable the-" Natalie is cut of by a sudden commotion in the dinner hall.

Alyx turns to see Jonathan attempting to drag Jess out of the dinner hall.

"Get the fuck off of me!" Jess screams

"We can talk in private or I can tell everyone here about your dad's dirty little secret. Hm, what do you want?" Jonathan sneers

"The fuck is wrong with you!?" Alyx yells, pushing Jonathan away "You just thrive off this bullshit don't you"

Jonathan gets in Alyx face and whispers "Alleyway, after school. No questions". He then walks off without saying anything more.

"What did he say?" Natalie asks

"Something about meeting him in the alleyway after school"

"Are you gonna meet him?"

"Yeah I guess, nothing too bad will happen right. Worst that could happen is that I'll get beat up a bit huh?"

"Maybe, I just don't have a good feeling about it"

"I'll be fine dude, don't worry"

- After School -

"I'm gonna head over, if I'm not back just call someone" Alyx says to Natalie

Before Natalie can speak Alyx is already walking to meet with Jonathan.
