"you ready to go babe?" chris shouts from downstairs. "
yeah just a minute!" i yell back. i run down the stairs to find my boyfriend sitting at the kitchen island, scrolling through tiktok.
"now im ready." i say out of breath while wrapping my arms around chris from behind him.
"lets gooo" he says standing up and tosses me my car keys that were sitting on the counter.we both walk out the door and make sure to say goodbye to nick and matt so they know we were leaving the house. i spend a lot of time over at the triplet's place and they spend a lot of time at mine. i can't remember the last time we didn't sleep in the same house. we are constantly going back and forth from eachothers houses and spending all day there and then sleeping over. and then we wake up and repeat. and let me tell you... it is so much fun.
the triplets are definitely the funniest people i know. and the best part is, we're all best friends. me and chris have been dating for two years now, but we've known eachother since we were 14.
we both get into my car and i start driving to the grocery store. the triplets wanted a few snacks and i never pass up an opportunity to go grocery shopping. for some reason i love grocery shopping. especially at 8pm in a hoodie and sweatpants with my boyfriend.
before i can even grab a shopping cart, chris has run off to get pepsi. he comes running back with a pack of pepsi and puts it into the cart.
"do you remember what nick wanted? i got matt a few things already" i tell chris.
"yeah i'll go find some things for him"
"thank youuuuu""hey" a boy that looks no older than 16 walks up to me. of course im not going to be rude, i don't want to assume the worst in things.
"hi, can i help you?" i say with a rather confused look accross my face. i can't remember the last time a boy tried to hit on me, but thats probably because i walk around with triplets 24/7.
"i just wanted to tell you you're pretty. could i get your number?" he looks nervous, like he doesn't do this often.im never rude when a guy asks for my number. i always politely decline and maybe compliment them.
"im so sorry, i have a boyfriend, hes just a few isles down. i hope you have a good day" i say with a smile on my face.
chris comes around the corner and he sees the boy walking away. our eyes lock and he has an angry look on his face but you can tell he's trying to hide it.
"who was that?" chris asks, throwing some snacks into the cart.
"he asked for my number," i sigh a little "i declined obviously, i told him you were a couple isles away."
"okay" he moves his eyes to the floor and hides his frown."baby," i walk up to him and hug him. "you never have to worry about any other boy okay? i promise. im still surprised i still have a grip on you."
"why? he frowns. "we've known eachother since highschool."
"yeah but you've grown so much, chris. and im so so proud of you. watching you and your brothers grow, and continue to grow, makes me the happiest girl in the world, because i know you're happy doing what you do."
he smiles and kisses me on the cheek.
"and you're kinda famous." i laugh. "as much as i love all of your famous friends, its hard not to compare myself to them, because im just a normal girl."
"you know i love you right? you shouldn't even be scared of losing me because im scared of losing you."
we both laugh. "i love you, chris" i say and look at his blue eyes.
"i love you y/n."
