Max's POV
We're at the campus right now because...may klase duh. "Max" Wayne called me. "Hm?"
"Ano klase mo ngayon?" He asked
"Oh, kay Mrs. Fuentes ako" I replied
"Gago ako din" i chuckled
"May recitation tayo Wayne" sabi ko at nanglaki ang mga mata n'ya.
"Oo nga pala" realization hits him. "I forgot" he said while scratching his batok.
"Max?" A familiar voice called my name. Who the fuck
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Wayne shouted. Nang lumingon ako ay nakita ko ang isang pamilyar na mukha. "Hi max" I frozed.
I didn't know what to do. I saw my ex lover who left me ages ago to fulfill his dreams. And now he's back? I didn't speak. No, I can't speak, and I don't know why. I can't move. I'm stunned. Hindi ko alam kung anong una kong mararamdaman. Should I be happy since he's already here? Galit? Lungkot? I don't know. Hindi ko na namalayan na dinala na ako ng mga paa ko palayo sakanya na tila may sariling isip ito. I can feel my tears falling, I couldn't stop it. The pain that he gave me years ago came back. Sumisikip ang dibdib ko, feeling ko hindi ako makahinga. Dahil sa pag-luha ko ay hindi ko na makita ang dinadaanan ko. Until I bumped into someone. "Max?" I didn't answer. "Max! What happened? Are you okay?" A guy's voice kept asking me. "I'll sit you down" sabi nya at iniupo ako sa pinaka-malapit na bench. I kept crying. He wiped my tears using his fingers while trying to calm me down. "Hey, it's okay..." Those comforting words.. I looked up to see his face. "E-edwin?" Hindi ako makapag-salita nang maayos dahil kaka-galing ko lamang sa iyak. "Yes?" The boy spoke. This is embarrassing... Fuck my life. "What happened?" He said in a calm voice. That's the second time that i heard that tone of him. The last one was when the black out happened. But this voice of him right now is so comforting. I feel safe.
Edwin's POV
He didn't answer my question, i think he's out of it. Tears kept falling out of his eyes. But this time, he's quiet. Tulala s'ya. What happened to him? It's my first time seeing him cry ever since we met. I know something is up, he just won't tell me. "it's okay if hindi mo sasagutin yung question ko haha" i said trying to get his attention. He looked at me, may mga luha pang tumutulo galing sa mga mata n'ya. I can't stand seeing him cry and I don't know why. Fuck! why am I like this? Humagulgol s'ya, I brought him closer to me and hugged him. Humigpit ang hawak n'ya sa uniform ko. He's still crying. "It's okay Max" I said while I touched his hair. It's so soft unlike mine.
"Why's my life like this?" He spoke. "May galit ba sakin si universe?!" He angrily said. "Putangina mo universe!!!" Sigaw nito habang umiiyak. He's so cute haha.
"Hey, be quiet" I warned him, I put my finger on his mouth as a sign that he should be quiet. "Mamaya may makarinig sayo". I laughed.
He just looked at me and buried his face sa dibdib ko. "Edwin" he called my name. He looked up and looked into my eyes. "Anong dapat gawin kapag bumalik yung ex-lover mo after disappearing for years?" He asked, he never took his eyes off mine. So yan pala reason ng pagiyak mo. Pano ako sasagot kung nakatingin ka sa akin nang ganyan max?
"Tell them to fuck off" I started. "The fuck?" He looked so confused. I laughed before i started talking again. "They disappeared for so long, they made you wait like an idiot." I said while looking at him. "Don't give second chances to jerks max." I looked directly into his eyes. "Know your worth." After I said those words, he's just silent. 'did I give the shittiest advice? What's wrong? Why's he not answering?'
He's quiet again....
