Dating other people?

"Do you think you did well on the midterms?" I asked the man over the phone. It had now been a week after our study session in the library and today was the last day of the midterms for Connor.

"I did a lot better than I thought I would, thanks to you. You still have another day left, right?" He asked me and I nodded despite him not being able to see me.

"Yep, Psychology is much harder than communications" I teased and he groaned.

"Shut up, we've been over this. You're smart and I'm not" He grumbled playfully and I chuckled.

"You're good at soccer and I'm not" I tried making him feel better about himself.

"That reminds me, we need to play soccer soon. Gotta teach you some tricks" He stated and I rolled my eyes while looking in my closet.

"Pick an outfit. The green turtle neck or the blue three-quarter shirt with the windbreaker?" I asked while showing him both shirts. The man raised an eyebrow in reply.

"Where are you going?" He asked with a cute little smile.

"Kianna dragged me on a double date with her boy toy" I explained and the boy frowned.

"You're going on a date?" He asked with a serious tone of voice.

"Why, are you jealous?" I teased and he stayed silent for a few minutes.

"No, why would I be? I hope you have fun and I think the blue one looks nice" He said quickly and I started putting on the shirt.

"Hey, I got to go. My roommate needs me. Talk later Blakey" He said before hanging up the phone. Is it just me or is he acting weird? I shrugged it off and continued getting dressed for this date I'd rather skip. I finished getting ready and walked over to where Kianna was flirting with Joey on the phone.

"You do realize that you owe me big right? First the stupid party, then taking the whole dorm last week and now this stupid date with people I don't even know" I told the very annoying pink-haired girl who is somehow my best friend.

"You should be thanking me, both times you ran into Connor and he's cute" She stated and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, let's just go before I cancel," I told her before putting on my windbreaker and shoes. She chuckled before doing the same and leaving the dorm. Time to socialize with strangers!

We arrived at the restaurant that Kianna and Joey picked and I quickly excused myself to the bathroom. I need to mentally prepare myself for this date. I walked over to the sink and looked myself over. I really didn't want this date right now. I haven't felt like dating since my ex plus I'm busy with school and then there's my new friendship with Connor. I sighed before washing my face. I hope tonight ends quickly. I looked up when I heard the bathroom door open and smiled when I saw who entered it.

"Connor? What are you doing here?" I asked the grinning boy who walked over to me.

"I have a date tonight and I saw Kianna who told me you were in here. I saw your date out there, he's cute" He explained and my smile dropped. He has a date tonight?

"You have a date?" I asked while trying to mask my emotions. Why does hearing Connor has a date bother me so much?

"Yeah my roommate asked me for a favor and I had nothing else to do with my night" He explained while washing his hands.

"Are you having a good time?" I asked while trying to not sound bitter. I selfishly hope he's having a terrible time.

"My date hasn't arrived yet but I'll update you. I should get back out there. Have fun on your date" He told me before leaving the bathroom. I watched him leave while frowning. I hope he has a terrible time. I left the bathroom and slowly walked over to the table with the pink-haired girl I live with. I arrived at the table where I noticed a very familiar grinning face and my eyes widened.

"Nice of you to finally join us, Bly," Kianna said once she noticed me.

"Joey's your roommate?!" I turned to Connor who was smiling like usual.

"And Kianna is the girl he's been raving about for weeks" He stated and I frowned.

"You could have told me that you were the date in the bathroom" I yelled at him and he chuckled.

"I did, I told you that your date was cute. If you didn't come to the conclusion that's not my fault" He stated smugly and I rolled my eyes.

"I could just leave right now," I told him and he immediately started to apologize and begs for forgiveness, it was quite fun.

"I told you, Joey, they are so cute together" I heard Kianna tell the man beside her.

"We are really cute aren't we?" Connor agreed and I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up and let's order some food. Kianna, you're paying for my meal since you dragged me here" I stated and the girl smiled.

"I'm okay with that to see this cuteness," She said and I sighed. Maybe tonight won't be as bad as I thought.

Honestly, Blayke should be thanking Kianna, this is the third time he has run into Connor because of the pinkette and each time has been amazing. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and this very cute ship.
