Bakugo POV
A crack resounds throughout the air, my eyes widen, Ryuu jumped in front of me, and took the attack. She then kicks me away, before looking at me with a smile, 'I love you Katsuki.' She mouths to me.
She feels the same?
-Time Skip-
A white light starts to glow around Ryuu, and she looks at me, before quickly kissing me. I freeze, and she moves to attack Shigaraki, before I'm forced to close my eyes from the light. I hear a body hitting the ground, and I move out of instinct.
I catch the person, before looking down at who it was, my eyes widen. It was Ryuu, who now had a gaping hole in her chest, "RYUU!!" Aisuru shouts. She then zaps to me, with tears running down her face.
Her face forms into an angry expression, before attacking Shigaraki with a war cry of emotion, Taki forms by me. The water spirit looked sad, "The cost of keeping the one she loved safe..." She says.
"The side effect of your Cluster technique is the balls of sweat travel into your body, and try to look for an outlet. Ryuu could sense your rising body temperature, and started to absorb it, at the risk of rising her own body temperature." Taki explains.
I stare at her in horror, "It's my fault...?" I ask, Taki then tilts her head at Ryuu. "Her healing might allow her to survive, cause I believe her quirk doesn't her to die. Us quirks have our own sentience on rare times, I believe her quirk is one of those rare ones." Taki says.
The water spirit then disappears, and I look at Ryuu, "Hey, Ryuu... I love you too." I whisper to her. Tears prick in my eyes, I rest my forehead against hers, "Say it back Ryuu, please, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.." I say softly.
The tears fall on her unseeing eyes, "Please...." I say.
