Why am I like this? I always choose the most ego driven narcissistic man I can find and no more than two months later I catch them doing something or someone that I already knew they were doing and I end up back in square one , single at the bar looking for my next hook up.
"I'm sorry sweetie but I'm gonna have to cut you off" the bartender Maria says how do I know her name you ask? Like I said I'm here a lot
"Pleaseee just one more no one will know" I beg gripping my empty glass
"Sorry sweetheart I can't" she says sympathetically grasping the glass out of my hand and walking away I sigh laying my head on the bar deciding to stay a little while longer to sober up for my walk home
"Rough night?" I hear a dark voice ask from beside me I look up and damn near choke this man is sculpted he's what I in-vision talk dark and handsome to look like I decide to stop gawking and answer his question
"Rough twenty two years" I reply with a sarcastic grin
"Hmm are you from around here?" He asks cocking an eyebrow smirking at me
"Yup" I say staring at him God he's so hot I bet he's so good in bed wow I wish I wasn't drunk
"Well I've never had a complaint if that's what your asking" he smirks at the horrified look on my face
"I am so so sorry I'm kind of all over the place when I'm drunk" I say "But to answer your ques-"
"Boss we got a problem" a man says cutting me off mid sentence he looks pissed
"Then handle it" mystery man grits out turning his attention to the guy
"It needs you special attention boss" the man says glancing at me huffing mystery man stands up extending a hand to me I look up confused placing my hand in his
"Im calling you an Uber to make sure you get home safe you could wait in my office"he says pulling me along
"Oh no I'm okay I don't live far I can walk" I say struggling to keep up why does he care enough to call a ride? He opens his office door letting me walk in first
"No you'll get a ride just wait here and I'll be back " he says closing the office door
Oh hell no I've read this book before a girl meets a random handsome man at a bar and he turns out to be a homicidal manic and the girl tries to get away that won't be me not tonight standing up I crack the door the office open and slide out I make my way to the front of the club and leave out.
What a night I think to myself beginning my walk home
