My eyes fluttered opened from the bright light from the tv surprised it was still on I felt something heavy on my chest I looked down and saw key'lani laying on my chest I saw a slightly purple bruise on her chest I furrowed my eyebrows confused on why I was even looking all in her shirt like that.
"𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗺 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴"𝗶 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 before going on my phone waiting for me to get sleepy again and for lani to wake up so I could start my day when it's time I heard loud thundering so I lifted my head up and looked out the window and I saw a big ass tree branch falling down on a neighbor car across the street making the car alarm go off key'lani jumped out of her sleep making me look at her confused
"you straight? it was just a tree"I pulled her back down and she fell back into the crook of the couch and laid her head back on my chest and wrapped her arm around my stomach and one of her legs on top of mines
"Sleepy still?"I asked pulling the cover back over her
"mhm"she said lowly and nodded her head
"go back to sleep than ma"
"im trying I can't"she lowly whined making me laugh a little a her action
"you is ah big ass baby"I started rubbing her back
"no I'm not shut up"
"whatever helps you sleep at night"I said making her huff loudly
