Warped tour -2

"I still don't get why she gets to go!" I heard my sister yell she must be on phone because I didn't hear an answer before she started yelling again. "It's not fair! I have always wanted to go and she gets to go before me!" I just shook my head before walking out of my room. Warped Tour was in a week and I had no idea what to do with myself so me and Danielle were going to the mall because so far our summer vacation sucked.

I got into the passenger seat of Danielle's black Volkswagen Beetle. Her radio was blasting Sleeping with Sirens and I loved it.

"You know I thought this vacation was going to be so much Better." I stated pulling my seatbelt on.

"I know right! It's because we don't have any friends." She retorted. I just nodded in agreement.

She pulled out into the street and we were soon headed for the mall. Our drive there consisted of us singing terribly along to her CDs and pointing at not so attractive people saying "That's your boyfriend." Me and Danielle have been best friends since seventh grade, we started hanging out with each other because neither one of us really had friends, and soon after we started talking we realized how much a like we were and lets just say the rest is history.

She pulled into a parking spot remotely close to the main entrance which was amazing because that means the car will be easy to find; even if it's not that hard to find a Beetle. She walked around the car catching up with me as we walked into the mall I told her the story of my sister complaining probably to my dad about not going to most likely warped tour. She just laughed and said and I quote "She is probably on her days or something." I couldn't hold in the laugh.

We walked into the mall and it was completely packed "Great! there are people here." I complained

"What did you expect its Friday." She said dragging me into the crowded mall. We walked about five feet before bumping into someone.

"Watch it you freaks!" Nicole yelled before pushing me away from her. Nicole is the girl every girl wants to be and every guy wants. She is tall skinny blonde hair blue eyes flawless skin, but her personality is hideous. I don't know what anyone saw in her.

"Um sorry." I said barely over a whisper looking down at the ground.

"You better be." He shoulder bumped hard against mine as she walked by me. I turned and looked at her walk away, and that's when I seen him, Manuel. Nicole walked right up to him, grabbed his hand and walk through the mall.

I could feel my stomach tighten and I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die. I took a deep breath in and started walking through the mall with Danielle again. "I hate her so much!" She practically yelled. I couldn't find my voice so I just nodded, it was okay though because I knew if I talked my voice would crack and she would know something was wrong. I am not sure why it got to me that much, I knew I didn't have a shot with Manuel he was the popular guy and I was the loner girl with two friends. Love like that doesn't happen in real life, We could probably be exactly a like, but we would never know.

I walked to my closet and grabbed the outfit I had picked out the night before. It was the only time I had ever actually really put time into picking out my outfit. I would usually just pull in the first thing I seen and left for school, but I am not going to school today, no I am going to warped tour.

I pulled on my black shorts and a white Black Veil Brides tank top, with my black Dr. Martins. After I finished tying my shoe I looked my self over in my boy length mirror. I had straighten my jet black hair and put black eyeliner around my pale blue eyes. It was the first time that I had actually thought I looked good. I smiled to myself before slipping my phone in my pocket and walking out of my room. 

I walked down stairs and into the kitchen, opening the fridge and pulling out an apple. "Hey Taylor." I said too my sister who was sitting at the kitchen table on her lap top. I washed off my apple and sat down next to her taking a bite of the fruit.

"What time are you and Danielle are leaving?" She said not looking up from the screen, typing away.

"Um she is going to be here in like five minutes or so." I said still eating and staring at the wall.

"Cool." was all she said. I just nodded. I heard a honking outside and sighed in relief. "Bye Ronnie." My sister said as if she too knew it was Danielle.

"Bye Taylor." I said throwing away the apple core and walking out the door. I quickly got into my best friends car.

"Was the silence that bad?" She asked when I got in the car I just gave her a look and nodded. "Well now its time to have fun!" She screamed in excitement.

"Are we going to go pick up Randey?" I asked

"no he is getting a ride with one of his "friends"" She said smirking.

"Oh my gosh no way!" I said getting the hint that this wasn't just a friend. She smiled widely and nodded.

"Dude what if we meet someone at Warped Tour and they fall madly in love with us?" She asked practically jumping in her seat.

I just shook my head. "Danielle, That stuff only happens in books and movies."

"You never know." She said shrugging her shoulders.
