You see the title? Well, of course you can. As you may think, I had met my ex's right in front of me. Full of hatred in their eyes. Of course, I was cursed, they tried to kill me and take my power. Same old stories. I didn't know they were gonna be Arai. And Cal really not knowing what is an Arai, it would make stories more complicated.
"We meet again Xylo." Her tone of voice was so dark and scratchy.
"Yeah, we meet again. Now untie us and let us go." (Oh yeah, forgot to mention me and Cal are now tied up from those stupid creatures.)
"You do know that I'm going to take you to Tartarus still. Our love could be forever." By love, means killing me, just to clarify.
"I don't think that will work Selena. Me and my friend has some important business coming in our way. It would be nice to untie us and let us go."
"Business.... Are you cheating on me Xylo, son of Hades. For a bastard. Who has a very disturbing accent, blue hair and dots in his face?!?"
"To clarify, it is called freckles. And I'm not a bastard. And why people hate British people like how? Is it cuz of the accent? I STILL DON'T GET IT WITH THE GODS!!" Cal screamed on that last part, and I will admit, his little accent is so cute.
"And no, we aren't dating. We are just friends. Why do people thinks of it like that?" I shrugged.
"Doesn't matter. Xylo, if you don't come, then I'll have to take you and kill your friend here. So just follow me and I'll let your friend go." Her smirk was wide as her batlike wings were different then the other Arai's. Why must I date people like this?
"So, if I follow you to Tartarus, you would let Cal go? And that's all?"
"Of course. And beside, I won't harm him. Not even a cut." Her voice became more bitter and aggressive.
I looked at Cal as he nodded "no" with a very worried face. I looked back at Selena. Maybe time travel... Wait, TIME TRAVEL! That's it! Cal has the ability to do so, but I need to find a way to see if he still could control it.
"Alright, but can I ATLEAST talk to Cal before I leave?" I asked with all of my innocent act up. Selena stared at me then at Cal. "Fine. Just for 2 minutes." She left us alone.
"You are seriously going to Tartarus like that are you?" Cal asked full of concerns.
"Ok, j may have not been honest of all my ex's. But I need you to change the past. Time travel. Please." I asked and begged. To be fair, I never planned to stay in Tartarus.
"Alright fine. But it will waste my energy for a bit." Cal said. "Buddy, you time traveled and I know when you did or not. So just do it before they come back."
Cal was concentrating on using his powers. His eyes were shut tightly. He then opened his eyes where there was no life in them. His hair glowed too. His skin turned navy blue (and another explanation, ok, Cal got those powers mostly from Khonsu and barely used it since it makes a bond with them) I closed my eyes knowing I will forget what will happen and the-.
Me and Cal were walking to the village and I heard a thump to the floor. I checked behind me and saw Cal breathing shakily. "Cal!" I ran to Cal and brought him up. He never does that unless he time travels.
"Cal, are you ok? Why did you went back in time?"
"Well.. it's because your going to see your ex or something. An Arai. You told me to go back and reverse it for the new campers." Cal said as I forgot that I was hiding his hand. He blushed and made his little cute Hmm sound. We let go and stared in opposite side of the view. "Sooo, is it Selena. Great, the one I though I will never see again." I grunted knowing that she will find me no matter what. "I though Arai's are meant to be kept in Tartarus and never escape. How you even get an ex?" Cal asked curiously.
"Um, well, my head does seems fuzzy how I met her. But I'm pretty sure she hates me and tried to steal my power.
" Cal chuckled. "Your really bad at dating." He managed to say as I laugh alongside with him. He told the truth on that.
Hours of finding and attacking my ex. We took the new fellow campers to camp where it's safe for them. As we came to camp it was like evening. Me and Cal were exhausted after fighting. As we saw all of them except and emo one were all shocked and terrified if we have to fight more. But let us introduce the new campers shall we?
