One morning, Nightmare woke up to yelling. Sounded like his Undyne. She was the castle guard, along with Greater Dog's army. She was yelling at one of the cooks for somthing.. The voice was inaudible, so Nightmare couldn't really hear.

Nightmare got up out of be and got is his normal hoodie and shorts and sloped on a pair of all black vans. Even the scoles were black, oddly enough. He was getting ready to go down the massive stair case when he heard his brother call for him from behind. "Nightmare!" Dream was about 10 years younger then the darker skeleton, making his only 7. Nightmare was about to turn 18 in less then 2 months. His parents told his he has to find a wife before his 18th birthday, or he will be forced to marry on his parents will.

"Whats up lil man?" Nightmare asked "Are you going out today? If you are, can you grab me another one of those wooden cars?" Dream said in a low whispering voice. They weren't aloud to have anything outside the castle, but nightmare didn't care. So, he started to get dream thease little wooden cars that Ink makes. "Sure thing kiddo," he said, patting Dream on the head.

Nightmare walked out of the castle and headed across the bridge that was over a moat, separating the kingdom from the castle. He knew almost everyone from the kingdom waving to the people who were kind enough to wave to him first. He took out his phone and put his airpods in, shuffling his Playlist. The song was 'people = shit' by slipknot. He walked off onto a trail that was near the markets. Reaching his favorite spot near the border walls of the kingdom.

Resting his back on a tree he was scrolling through his phone when he went to clear somthing out, he accidentally cleared spotify, making the music stop. When he was getting ready to open the app he heard a voice singing... It was a deep voice, glitching.. Odd, he's never heard a voice like this before... The singing though, was magnificent. A very masculine, yet feminine tone. It was driving Nightmare nuts. He looked in one of the cracks in the wall. Well.... It wasn't really a crack. It was a hole from a missing brick. He couldn't see very well because of the vines. So, he took out his pocket knife and cut them. He peired through the hole and saw another dark skeleton, such as himself. Sitting on a rock near a waterfall. It wasn't running, just a wall of rocks. But it was still a waterfall. Nightmare was contemplating if he should say somthing when the other skeleton looked at him. "H-Hello?" He sat there his eyes wide, looking into the others, they were a gorgeous heterochromia of blue and red. "Er... Hi?" Studying him a bit farther the other replied in a curious way "who are you?" I froze a second. He didn't know who I was? Weird..

"I'm prince Nightmare... And you are?" "Oh..." the other thought, he didn't have a name, but he just referred to himself as 'the error' but why not shorten it to just error? "Error?" He said, as he wasn’t so sure what else to say. "Thats an odd name... Not that I don't like it! It's just.. its not everyday you meet someone named error.." Nightmare was mentally face palming at this point. When he heard error giggle, he laughed at himself. Error got up and walked over to Nightmare, their eyes meeting as he looked through the hole. "You come here often?" The error said. "Yeah, I do actually.. Do you?" "I do indeed. I have nowhere else to go.. I was... Wondering when you would notice me.." Nightmare gasped at the statement. "You knew I was over here?" "I was quite aware, you always have your headphones in, so I couldn't get your attention." Nightmare felt like an idiot for not noticing.

"Why did you try to get my attention?" Nightmare asked "Well, its hard to resist when you've been practically 10 feet away from such a handsome skeleton." Nightmare blushed, as he was going to say something the error put a finger to his lips "Shh, no need to say anything. I should get going though." Error took that same hand and put it under The others chin, bringing him forward to kiss his nose. "Buh bye, Handsome~" And just like that he walked off. Nightmare flipped around and leaned his back against the wall, touching his nose with a wide childish smile on his face. He got up and teleported himself to his room. He knew he wasn't supposed to use his magic, but he was in love with this mysterious man. He layed in bed, not even bothering to take off his shoes. He just layed there, he took his hand and kissed the tip of his fingers and put them on his nose, where the error had put his lips on. Eventually drifting off to sleep..
