The meeting

"Nezuko"

My eye lids flutter open. A soft hand appears on my head.

"Nezuko, are you awake?"

"Hmph"

Onee chan gives me his classic warm smile and I feel my heart soften. 

"Today I'm going on a mission with Zenitsu and Inoskue, you weren't assigned to come and I won't be back for a little while. Will you be okay by yourself?" He looks at me with slight worry.

I nod my head. Tanjiro leaves but gives me a sweet hug and tells me to have a plesant sleep.

 I smile underneath my bamboo muzzle as I hear the cries of Zenitsu through the wooden wall. He's probably clutching onto to Tanjiro for dear life, scared of the demons that they will soon meet. Inoskue laughs with triumph and screams through his mask, saying he'll kill the demons before his friends can.

After a few minutes it goes quiet. Peace at last.

45 minutes later...

"Who are you again?" The dazed boy questions me.

"Hmmph!" = I'm Nezuko!

"So...your name is Nezuko?"

I nod my head still surprised that he understands me.

"Hmm...Ah! I think there was someone named Tanjiro who came to live here. Do you know him?"

I pout at him and nod. My pastel pink eyes shimmering. How could anyone forget about my onee chan? He's too unforgettable. 

He just stares at me. 

How did I get into this situation?

FLASH BACK 

I was sleeping on the floor of my room when I heard my sliding door open. Did onee chan forget something?

" Where am I?"

I open my eyes and sit up as light blue eyes stare into mine.

"Who are you?" He asks in a nonchalant voice. 

"Hmmph?" = Who are you?

" Tokito Muichiro"

END OF FLASHBACK

Tokito Muichiro. Has a nice ring to it. I wonder if he really forgot about me and my brother or is he just messing with me?

I scratch the wooden floor I'm sitting on, unsure of what to say.

"Your eyes are pretty." He interrupts my train of thought.

I felt a mini blush rise to my cheeks. 

"Hmmph Hmmph!" = Your eyes are pretty too.

"...Thanks..."
