The real reason

"Hmmph hmmph hmmph?" = Why did you come to the butterfly estate?

"... I don't remember..." He says.

This boy is hopeless. 

I grab his over sized sleeve with my tiny hand and guided him out of the room. We weave through the halls and travel to Shinobus room. Before I can knock Kanao opens the sliding door.

She smiles politely at us before walking off. 

I pull Muichiro into Shinobus office hoping that bringing him to her will make him remember why he came here.

"Oh?... Ohayo!" She greets us turning around in her chair.

"What brings you two here? Nezuko, Muichiro?"

"Hmmph!" I try explaining but I then remember that no one can understand me, well everyone except Muichiro. 

"Hmm? I'm afraid I don't understand." She smiles apologetically.

"Did you need something Muichiro?"

"...I forgot..."

"Oh, well that's to bad, come back when you remember."

I bow and leave. Muichiro closes the door behind us.

Well that didn't work, I wonder why muichiro came? Did he just wander over?

"I lied."

I look up at him curiously.

"Hmmph?" = Why?

He looks down at me curiously.

"For the first time in a long time I remembered something, someone. You. I remembered you from the trial which is strange because I forget everything. I didn't want to risk forgetting you, so I came to see if I could find out why. When I heard that the annoying trio was leaving on a mission I figured that this would be the best time to see you."

I don't know what to say.

Suddenly I grow. my bones extend and my skin streches. I grow to be 14. Muichiros age. My true age.

My hand rests peacefully on Muichiros head as I pat and stroke his smooth hair. His teal ends catch my eye and I move my hand to feel the ends of his hair.

"Do you like it?"

I flinch and quickly draw my hand away. I don't mean to be rude.

"Hmm..." = Sorry.

"I didn't say you should stop."

He moves his hand to my hair and starts playing with it, my cheeks flush red. I look up. He stares at me his face cold but his eyes shine. 

I shove him away gently. What is this boy doing?

"Well it looks like I'll have to wait for your response. I'll be back tomorrow."

"Hmmph? Hmmph hmmp?" = Huh? Aren't you busy?

"I'm not at the moment."  He shrugs. "Bye Nezuko."

"Hm-" 

He walks off before I can even finish. Cocky brat. My face flushes a bit. The way he called my name...He sounded so confident and mischievous.

"Nezuko are you alright?" Aoi calls out to me.

"Hmmph."= I'm alright.

Hopefully It stays that way.
