I Caught It! I managed to stay awake just long enough! I was about to fall asleep when I heard my window creak open and when I opened my eyes I saw the little creature hop off my sill and go to my work chair. I watched as it mended my hat before climbing up to my table and starting to nibble on the honey and crackers. It saw me at this point and hid behind the candle stick. I sat up and said hi explaining I meant no harm. I gave thanks for it mending all my things and showed it to the tea I made. It was hesitant, but tried some of the tea and started to trust me. The creature was too small to shake hands with so I held out my finger to introduce myself. It was truly amazing to see it. After it finished eating it spoke! I honestly didn't expect it to be able to speak but it did. It held a thick accent and we talked all night. When the sun started to shine through my window it exclaimed it had to leave. I told it, it was more than welcome to visit again, and i'd prepare some snacks for it.
As for my day nothing exciting happened. I couldn't stop thinking about the brownie. I have a feeling i'll be distracted for quite a while. I should get some sleep though tonight as staying up all night before has left me very tired. I'm not as young as I used to be.
