Evans POV:
"Sorry about that." Susie said once we got to the salad bar, she let go of my wrist.
"Nic and dan are usually annoying like that, it's best to just ignore it. Sooner or later they'll be sucking face in the bathroom."
I giggled, liz shoved her in protest of the joke she made, probably cuz of her big fat crush on Nicholas.
I get it, he was tall, soccer player, tan. I didn't know much about him though since he knew susie longer.

"It's not nice to say that susie." She says, huffing and looking up at the salad bar sign, contemplating wether she should eat healthy or go to the ice cream stand.
The place was packed. I could swear i could feel breathing down my neck when i was behind the girls in line, sorta freaked me out in a way.

Susie and liz were bickering, it started to get to much for me. Way to much, i started to worry, get nervous,
The feeling of people stepping on my shoes, the loud crunching of lettuce and the obnoxious loud talking.
I kept on getting shoved, it didn't seem like much but for me, i was about to cry. I tried to calm down but it soon became obvious what was happening to the others around me, wether it was my shuddering or the fact i was sweating so much it looked like i had water dumped on me. People started giving me odd looks and small "are you ok?"

I tried to smile and nod but i just, couldn't. I took ahold of Susie's shirt cuff and got her attention, she looked back at me with a worried face.

"Ev? Ev are you ok?" She said, grabbing me and pulling me out of the line.

"I- i uh-" i couldn't muster up the words to just say "im having a panic attack"
Even if i could i would be way to embarrassed to even thing of saying that out loud.
But she knew.

"C'mon ev lets get you some water." she sat me down on the bench next to the grey cylinder shaped pillar, scary huge in comparison to me. She ran over to tell Elizebeth our order and went to get me some water from the water fountain.

It was super hot and i was trying to air myself out, taking one hand and pulling the front of my shirt forward and backward, like in a peanut cartoon.

I look around in search for something to distract me, i look over towards the ice cream stand liz was talking about earlier, the line was huge, mostly full of crying babies and annoying kids. Ugh, they should just stay in the daycare. I look down to the people shoes. Trying to make a game out of waiting. I look over to a pair of brown and white pair of adidas which looked to be very old and distressed, probably hand-me-downs. I thought, suddenly i felt a pair of eyes on me. I look up from the boys shoes to his face, we lock eyes, i look away in embarrassment but he keeps staring, after a couple seconds he looks away, the moment repeats in my head and i can't help but to observe his features, at least what i could've in the millisecond i saw his face.

He had brown hair, it looked like be pretty nappy but sort-of curly, not fro curly, but like my sisters natural Shirley temple hairstyle, he had tan skin, some sunburns here and there but mostly around his nose, i think he had freckles too. He had a Clifford the big red dog bandaid on his jaw-line. I unknowingly smile at the thought of the boy being a fan of a babies show. He looked to be around my age, maybe older, thats all i could remember.

Suddenly i felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Drink up." Susie said, it felt like when we were 7 playing doctor, her always being the doctors of course. But that's because she knew how to take care if me, she still does of course.

I take the small paper cup, it was one of those cups u would find in a dentists office after getting your braces tightened, ew. But either way i still drank the whole thing.
