NEVERBOYS

CHAPTER 2: "𝕋ℍ𝔼 𝔽𝕆ℝ𝔾𝕆𝕋𝕋𝔼ℕ"

After Kal's return home, we see Cody come home. He walks inside and sees no one, he calls out, "Guys! Are you here? Look I know you weren't exactly worried about me, but you had to know I was gone. Right?" He turns to the sight of him and is bewildered. The boy says, "What are you doing in my house?" Cody says, "I live here, I'm Cody Riles." The boy says, "Cody Riles? Ok, last time I checked, there is Cody in the Riles Family." Cody is astonished and says, "Then who are you?" The boy says, "I'm Brady Riles." Cody says, "Brady Riles? You know what? Your right. I'll be going." The boy says, "Good, get out creep." Cody looks confused and says "What?" as he runs away.

Andi gets home and walks upon her room looking completely different, and says, "What happened here? I was only Gone for a day." She turns to see a boy standing infront of her. The boy says, "Woah, what are you doing in my room?" Andi replies, "Your Room? What?" The boy looks at her and says, "Look, My name's Andy! I don't know what's going o...."
she interrupts him and says, "Andi? As in Andy Elliot?" The boy says, "Thats the one." Andi starts to panic and runs out the door. The other Andi says, "Wait! I never got your name." He starts to feel suspicious but just moves on with the story.

Jake returns home and tries to open the gate, just to see his key is not working. He says, "What the hell?" He turns to the mailbox as it says The Roberts. Jake says, "The Roberts? Whatever happen to the Martins?" He climbs the fence and heads inside. He sees a completely different living arrangement and becomes confused. He hears somebody coming and hides. He sees a strange man who he doesn't recognize, and whispers, "I don't understand, what happened to my home?" He sneaks away but is caught by a little girl who stares at him and he says, "Shhhh! I'm just on my way ou...." But it's too late. The girl screams and the man chases him out the door. The man says, "Get Out! You creep!" Jake says, "No no no! You see, this is a big misunderstanding." The door is slammed in his face and Jake says, "Ok, what is going on? Maybe those other guys will know." He runs off and continues on with the story.

We set on a park bench, Andi is found sitting there. Kal walks up and says, "Andi?" She looks up and sees a gloomy Kal walk up, she says, "Kal?" She runs up to him and hugs him. She sheds some tears and says, "Kal, everything is so messed up!" Kal replies, "I know. Really, I do." Andi says, "Really? How?"
"Let me explain." Kal says.

10 MINUTES LATER....

Kal says, "Long story short, I think I'm invisible to my whole family." Andi smiles and he says, "I know. It sounds insane."
Andi replies, "No, it doesn't. You see, when I got home, there was this boy, who's name is also Andi. And he dresses just like me, almost like, he's replacing me."
Cody and Jake walk up and Jake says, "Please tell me your guys's lives are messed up too?" Andi and Kal say in unison, "Yep!"
Cody says, "It's so weird, when I went home, there was this other me, named Brady. He's like an identical but snobby and arrogant copy of me. Almost like, I never existed."
Jake replies, "Lucky you! You all had homes to go to. I couldn't even recognize my home, everything was completely changed, and my family wasn't even there, just this random family who caught me and kicked me out. I've been going around town asking if anyone's seen them, it's like no one's even heard of them. Everything is so messed up!"
Kal replies, "Andi already used that line, Drama Queen!" He stands up and says, "Look, I know we all have questions as to what is happening to us, but to be fair, this isn't the weirdest thing we've seen. Remember that shadow fig....."
Kal paused for a moment and Andi says, "Kal? What is it?" Kal looks at Jake and says, "You!!!" Jake seems confused and says, "Me? What the hell are you talking about?" Kal replies, "If you had kept your running mouth shut, that Shadow Figure wouldn't have threatened us!" Jake replies, "Threatened us?"
"Kal, what are you talking about?" Cody said.
Kal replies, "Remember what the shadow figure said? "You never know what you truly have, until your gone!" We all thought he was bluffing, but my theory is that monster did something to make us to seem nonexistent!" Jake says, "What? That's crazy!" Kal says, "Think about it; You went home and everything was changed, Cody was replaced by an obnoxious twin, and Andi was replaced by a Boy!" Andi says, "Well, I would argue it was a Male Alternative of me." Kal looks at her with a death stare and she backs away. Kal takes a breath and says, "Ok, Look! We don't know for sure that we're fully nonexistent, there must be some way to know for sure." Jake says, "And what way is that? We can't just look into records and see if our names show up." Everyone looks at Jake and Cody says, "That's exactly not a bad idea." Andi says, "I don't know. What if we get caught?" Kal says, "It's Saturday. I doubt anyone's still there." Andi says, "Well, if it has the answers we're looking for, then let's do it." They all head off the trail and continue on with the story.
