Kyrre has been away for at least 3 months and our 2 year old son is driving me nuts because he misses his daddy. "Mommy when is daddy coming?" he said climbing to my bed. "I don't know baby, are you okay?" I asked him. "Today people at school were talking about their dads and I don't have a dad" he said with a sad face. I pulled him closer to me and hug him tight. I just held him tight and allowed his tears to flow down. "Leon you do have a dad and he loves you very much" I said to him rubbing his small back. "I never see daddy, he missed my birthday"" he said in between his sobs. "Sweetie you have to understand daddy has to work and he was very sad to miss your birthday but I know he will come soon" I told him. I didn't like lying to Leon. As a young mom only being 21, I had to make sure that my son always needed to be happy. I didn't regret having him at such a young age, meanwhile my friends went out and "had fun". It was raining outside pretty loud. Leon shivered every time a loud thunder or lightning stroke nearby. Leon fell asleep cuddled next to me , his cheeks still stained with dry tears. I grabbed my phone and called Kyrre.

It was about 8pm and Leon was still fast asleep next to me. I stood up carefully trying not to wake him up , I went to the kitchen to make some food for me and Leon. I decided to go for mac and cheese it was his favorite. I placed the two easy to make mac and cheese (kraft) and I heard the doorbell ring. I walked towards the door and I opened it. It was Kyrre. "What are you doing here?" I said as I hugged him. "We finished early and I missed you and Leon alot so I came home" he said then kissing me. "Where is he?" Kyrre said looking around. "He fell asleep in our room" I told him as I walked towards the kitchen to grab the mac and cheese. We walked to our room to find cute Leon sleeping. "Hey buddy" he said into Leon's ear. "Daddy?!" He said waking up. "I'm home" kyrre said hugging him. Leon's small arms hugging Kyrre's neck and ,kyrre rubbing his back. "I promise to never leave you two again after all you two are my reason to live". He said
