Chapter 1 - A New School

"Good morning, honey!" Y/n's mom slightly shook her awake.

You woke up tossing and turning, you knew your deceased mother, and the days you shared with her are now long gone.

"Fuck... I gotta get ready for my first day at UA." You thought to yourself.

It was a few years ago since she died, but it still feels like yesterday... maybe that's why you can't sleep?

You slowly got out of bed, walking into the bathroom and taking a shower. Afterward, you put on some clothes from the night before, then headed downstairs to make breakfast.

While making food, you heard someone knocking on the door. It was Bakugo Katsuki.

"The fuck is he doing here?" You thought.

"Yo." He said bluntly. "I told you not to be late."

You sighed in annoyance as you stood up and walked over to open the door.

Bakugo didn't say anything else after opening the door, instead just looking around the apartment as if he were checking it out or something.

"We have class in 10 minutes and I'm not going to fucking drive your late ass." Bakugo angrily shouts.

You sighed again. Why did he even care? Why did he bother coming here this early? This only proves how much of an asshole he really is.

"Fine, fine..." You muttered.

"I guess he's doing me a favor or whatever anyways" You thought.

As you got down the stairs, Bakugo already had his bag packed so you grabbed yours as well. You both walked out the front door, leaving you alone with Bakugo until class started.

"Man, I don't know what he wants but I hope he gets it." You think to yourself.

"Yah, let's go." Bakugo said as he turned towards the car.

You went ahead and got into the passenger seat and buckled up, he then opened the driver side door, climbed inside, and began driving off.

"So where are we going?" You asked as you glanced at him.

He gave you a nasty glare. "I'd tell you if I wanted you to know."

"Whatever," You mumbled under your breath.

Bakugo drove out of the parking lot, heading towards UA.

"Why do I feel like he has ulterior motives for this?" You thought to yourself.

Bakugo took the first right turn, which lead them straight to the dorms. You see the building in the distance, it seems pretty big compared to other buildings in the area.

"Wow, that's a huge school." You thought.

"That's just one building, there's a whole campus outside this city." Bakugo replied smugly.

Bakugo pulled up to the dorms' entrance, parking in a free spot next to a motorcycle.

"Well, it looks like we're here." Bakugo said as he turned off the engine.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of all the moving in stuff." He stated.

"Kay." You said in a moody way.

Once you both got out of the car, Bakugo made his way towards the entrance while you stayed by the car.

"Here goes nothing." You thought to yourself.

As you approached the front desk, you see it's empty except for the old lady who works there.

"Hello young lady, you are Y/n L/n correct?"

"How did you know?..." You gasped astonished.

"Well this is UA young one." The elderly woman replied.

You looked around, the building looked pretty nice.

"Yes, I am Y/n." You said.

"Alright, I'll show you your room and then you can get settled in." She said happily.

"Thanks!" You exclaimed as you followed her.

She led you upstairs to the second floor, a couple students were walking past, you could hear their voices as they talked about classes and teachers.

"This is your room, it's right across from the living space." The old lady said.

"Thank you for showing me around." You smiled.

"See ya later then." She said as she closed the door behind herself.

You walked over to the door and slowly opened it.

"Oh, wow!" You exclaimed.

Your room was very tiny and filled with old dusty furniture.

"This is my 13th reason!" You happily said with sarcasm.

"Maybe I should've stayed home..." You thought to yourself.

"At least I won't have any roommate problems." You said as you walked back down the steps and headed outside.

As you walk around the grounds, you notice more students and teachers walking around.

"Hmm... I wonder if I'll meet anyone interesting in class today." You thought to yourself.

You continued walking around the school until you came across the cafeteria. You look inside and see many students sitting together eating lunch.

"Now this is more like it." You thought to yourself.

You walked inside and found a table near the window where you sat down and began eating.

After you finished your meal, you left the cafeteria and headed towards the library.

"I hope I can find some books to read." You thought to yourself.

You entered the library and noticed the librarian was sitting by the front desk.

"Hello! Can I help you with something?" She asked.

You smiled and explained to her that you were new to UA and didn't know where to start.

"Ah, well, we do have a section of textbooks and some novels here." The woman replied.

"Is there anything I need to sign out?" You asked.

"No, just sit wherever you want." She said.

You saw there were quite a few people here reading, studying, and talking amongst each other.

"Hm... I might try finding another book." You thought to yourself.

You walked up to the front desk and began browsing through all the books available to you. As you flipped through the pages, you noticed the librarian was watching you closely.

"What?" You asked her.

"Nothing, just curious." The old woman responded.

You decided to leave the library and head to your next class.

As you walked, you noticed two girls walking towards you, they were smiling as they approached.

"Hey, new student!" One of the girls said cheerfully.

"Hi, I'm Jirou and this is Mina." The other girl replied.

You smiled and returned the greeting.

"You must be Y/n, the new transfer student huh?" Jirou said.

"Yeah, I am." You said calmly.

"Well, we're in the same class, you should come eat lunch with us." Mina said.

"Okay, sure." You said.

Mina and Jirou both smile and nod their heads.
