"Yes, we're alright. Giorno did most of the work." Mista said.

You did feel a little guilty for not pitching in more. You come to the realization that you aren't much of a standfighter. Even though you could defend yourself in a street battle, it made you uncomfortable to witness what they had to go through. At least this time, I didn't pass out. You secretly laughed.

You expected Bruno to return as well. You kept looking over your shoulder, waiting for him to call your name.

You started heading in the direction of the Colosseum after making sure everyone was okay and patched up. Giorno comes to a halt. "Come on, Bruno, he's going to need some serious healing." You grabbed his arm.

"Y/n..." he said softly.

You looked Giorno in the eyes. "We don't have time for this! Hurry!" You started to jog and expected everyone to follow.

You looked back and they were standing still as ever. You slowly stopped jogging "what's... wrong?" You asked. "Bucciarati is-" "is this way." You uncomfortably smiled.

What has gotten into them? I'm sure they remembered that he got shot a few times.

They looked at each other with sorrowful faces and proceeded.

You arrived at the colosseum and ran towards Bruno. "Bruno!" You yelled.

He was laying on the cold stone floor. "Bruno?"

There was no response.

You dropped to your knees "Giorno! Come heal him!" You took his cold hand into yours.

"Y/n..." he said. Slowly, pulling a ring and a piece of paper from his pocket. You cocked your head, puzzled.

He handed you the items holding back tears. "I... I'm sorry."

"I don't want this," you slapped his hand away softly. "Healing Bruno is the important thing right now..."

"Y/n, don't you get it?" Mista yelled. "Bucciarati is... gone! He's dead."

Your heart dropped. As your breathing became more rapid, the forming tears burned your eyes. The cold wind irritated your eyes, causing them to flutter. Your uncontrollable hand tightened its grip on Bruno's hand.

"S-" you stuttered. You weren't able to speak or give them a proper response.

"Please, read this. Bucciarati asked me to give this to you." You snatched the note from Giorno's hand and forgetting the ring but he quickly slipped it on your finger.

You wiped your tears away and unfolded the note with shaky breath.

Dear, my love

As you are aware, I am no longer present with you, making writing difficult. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I will never stop loving you. You've already been through a lot; please don't let this add to your stress.

I hope Giorno gave you the ring. Remember when you suggested that we get married? That was our engagement ring. I panicked because I was unsure whether you were aware that I intended to propose.

We are still very young but I can't imagine life without you. My dear, it's too late for me to hold you one last time, but I'll miss you. I'm not feeling anything anymore, but I still feel guilty because I was such a coward and kept quiet to you. Only fate led me to this, it was unavoidable.

I apologize if I wasn't able to give you the happiness you deserve, since I was dealing with personal difficulties at the time. I apologize for not introducing you to the others; I worried constantly that if you joined formally, your life would be in danger... Words cannot express how much I adore you; you are merely ideal. At the end, I'm pleased our relationship wasn't only about sex or wealth because I think about you constantly.

Every night I dream about you, Y/n I wish I could go back in time and fix my mistakes. My heart lurches out of my chest every time I see you because you are so lovely and perfect. I adore your eyes and our kisses, but I detest when they are broken.

I would have wanted you to live with me if we had gotten married because I wanted better for us both. In my fantasy, we went to fares and gave each other sweet kisses when the fireworks went off. All I ask of you, Y/n, is that you keep with the rest of the team and wear this ring always.

We are now parting ways, and although I love you, I will miss you.

My beloved, goodbye...

-Sincerely, Bruno Bucciarati

You didn't hold back not one tear reading that was the last thing you've ever wanted to do.

Bruno... couldn't be dead? Right? There's no way in hell. He promised you that he would never leave you and here, lies his cold and still body on the ground.

"I-" you could not speak no matter how hard you tried. The others stood around you in grief as you mourned the only person you've ever loved die.

You looked up at the sky slowly. "This isn't real..." you said in disbelief, "get this the hell out of my face and heal Bruno!" You yelled at Giorno knowing he wasn't the cause of this. "Y/n..." Giorno muttered, "there's nothing I can do." He looked away.

You furrowed your eyebrows and cried. "... then leave, leave me here with him!" "I cannot... Bucciarati gave me one last order and that was to make sure you and Trish were protected always."

"You damn bastard!" You shot up and grabbed Giorno by the collar. At this point you couldn't control yourself, you cocked your arm back getting ready to hit punch Giorno but Mista knocked you out with the handle of his gun.

As your vision started to fade away you heard their voices.

"We should've told her sooner"

-sigh....
