the teacher had ... slithered into class and interrupted the noise being made by the loud teenagers. [ɴᴀᴍᴇ] finally took her EarPods out and sat at attention to the sleeping bag.he shortly explained how time was important, before ordering the class to change into gym clothes. they followed instructions and went to their assigned locker rooms.
[ɴᴀᴍᴇ] was in one of the corners changing, it was strange to be changing with other people.
strangers at that.
she finished changing and walked out the locker room, 'it's too hot' she thought.
she unzipped her gym jacket, leaving her wife beater exposed. she sighed at the change in temperature and leaned back on the wall.
soon enough both parties began exiting their locker rooms and filled the hall. they began walking to meet their teacher, who they now know as 'Mr. Aizawa'.
"A QUIRK ASSESMENT TEST?!" the class shouted in shock, except for a select few that had no issue with a test. "What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" asked a brunette with a bob.
"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." Mr. Aizawa replied, the class got quiet as he spoke up again.
"U. A's selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes." he said.
"You kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right?" he asked, "Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their quirks."
he took a short pause before continuing with his awfully long speech.
after a while, he called Katsuki up to throw the ball using his quirk. Katsuki had been waiting to show off all day, he wanted the competition to know what they're dealing with.
He stood in the circle and stretched, before pulling his arm back and launching the ball with his explosions. "DIE" he screamed as he released the ball.
the class watched the ball soar until it landed.
"Know your own maximum" the teacher said before the device beeped. Mr. Aizawa looked at it before showing the class, "That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero" he finished as the screen faced the students.
'705.2 m' it read, the class erupted in shouts of "That looks fun" and pure shock until Aizawa spoke up again.
"This looks fun?" he questioned rhetorically, "You have three years to become a hero. Will you with an attitude like that the whole time?" the class deflated quite quickly.
"All right, whoever comes in last place in all eight tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion" he smirked as he ended his sentence.
"HUH??" shouted the class, except for those select few. It was a moment of silence as the students digested what their teacher had just told them. and before they knew it, they were doing multiple tests.
"Lastly, [ɴᴀᴍᴇ] Bakugo" Aizawa read before locking his eyes on said girl. she walked up the circle and took the ball, whispers of 'that's his sister?!' and 'they look nowhere near related' ranged through the field.
she did a short full body stretch before throwing the ball in the air and kicking it up. the class watched as the ball disappeared above the clouds, before quickly coming back down.
Mr. Aizawa nodded at the screen before showing everyone.
'860.9' it read, she let out a quiet sigh before walking back to the group. "But she didn't use her quirk!" said an invisible girl?
the students looked at [Y/n], expecting her to clear the confusion. but she stayed quiet.
the scores were posted and [ɴᴀᴍᴇ] found herself in 5th place. she shrugged and walked back into the building alone.
'Finally'
