Nightmare x Killer

Emotion Confusion

Killer POV-

Another day, another mission to deal with. I head to the throne room where Nightmare called me five minutes ago, making Nightmare wait was the biggest death wish in the mansion. I open the large doors to the throne room and approach Nightmare's throne, "Boss, you wanted to see me?" I ask. Nightmare looks pissed, "I called you down five minutes ago! What's the excuse today?" I gulp my fear the best I can, "I-I was getting dressed. I figured you didn't want to see me in my boxers..." Nightmare's gaze softens and he looks away for a moment, "B-Boss?" I spoke. He looks at me slightly blushed, "Finish getting ready and meet me in the living room. I have a mission for you and Cross." He ordered; he then raises his hand to dismiss me. By the look of his face, I couldn't help but think that Nightmare was actually considering seeing me in my boxers... No, my excuse must've been reasonable enough to make him forget my tardiness. 

Nightmare POV-

Either Killer was being clever with his excuse, or he was actually dressing, I don't want to find out. The thought of him coming down in his boxers made my emotions confusing enough, time to plan out the mission. The library door opens with a creak as I grab a large book of the shelf, the book containing all the AU maps. Ink left this book in Error's AU and Error gave it to me to keep him from getting in trouble for spending time with Ink. I'm starting to think that Error leaves the castle everyday just to spend time with Ink, doesn't matter Error was a lazy worker anyway. I place the book down on a meeting table so the pages could stretch out, I then spot the last AU Dream visited. Planning will now take place and knowing Killer, he'll keep Cross in line. Last time we faced Dream, Cross purposely missed an attack, and I spotted him winking at Dream. Cross is the traitor and I need Killer to get him back in line before I lose him to Dream, a simple job for Killer.

Killer POV-

Cross was on his phone texting with a blushed smile on his face, "So, who's the lucky girl?" I ask. Cross looked up from his phone with more blush, "Boy actually. Can you keep a secret?" He asks. I nod, "If you can keep mine." Cross smiles, "I've been secretly dating this guy outside the castle..." He admits. I lean closer, "Tell me more." He blushes, "He's cheerful, small, and very kind. He makes me very happy and those around him happy too!" Cross admits. "Description sounds close to someone I know... Tell me more." I say. "I will show you a picture if you tell me your secret." Cross adds. I blush, "I think I have feelings for boss." I admit. Cross gives an unsurprised look, "I knew it all along." "How?!" I ask. "You're more loyal than any of us are and every time boss is around you, you blush and act like a servant." Cross said. I roll my eye lights, "Okay, now show me who you're dating!" He hands me his phone and I almost drop it out of shock, there on the screen was a picture of Cross kissing Dream. I decide to scroll and Cross starts freaking out and takes the phone from me, "Jeez! You act like you have naked pictures of Dream on there!" I say to him. He blushes, "Well..." I start laughing, "You do?!" That's when boss clears his throat.

Nightmare POV-

The two stopped laughing, "Are you two done giggling like children? We have a mission to complete." Killer stands up and Cross rolls his eye lights, "Boss, what's the mission?" Killer asks. I summon a portal, "You'll visit this AU and find Dream, then you'll both will try to kill him. If you return home with blood on your weapons, you'll be rewarded. Return with no battle effort and I'll kill you myself." I order. I notice Cross give a worried look to Killer and Killer looks at me with a strange look in his eyes, Cross grabs Killer's sleeve and Killer blushes and looks away. My emotions start confusing me again when he looks surprised at me before pulled through the portal, I look in a mirror nearby and notice I too am blushing. How embarrassing!

Killer POV-

He blushed! He actually blushed! "Cross, did you see that? Nightmare blushed when he was looking at me!" I tell Cross. Cross sees Dream and blushes, "Killer, we can't kill him." Cross spoke. "As your friend, I will pretend that Dream put up a good fight. Actually, I'll let Dream fight and win while you go kill something else. That way a suspicion that Nightmare may have will get confused by my injury and the bloodshed on your weapon." I plan. Cross nods, "You're a great friend. I'm going to go find someone, you take Dream head on." He says before running toward town. Just as planned I head to Dream, weapons unleashed, and a smirk plastered on my face. Dream fights back and instead of dodging I take a full blow hit in the side of my head, knocking me on the ground. My head felt dizzy as I stand back up, I go for a false hit and take another hit from Dream. The hit takes a toll on my shoulder and the ground faced me again, finally Cross returns and explains to Dream everything. A guilty Dream comes towards me, "I'm sorry, Killer. Can I heal you?" He asks. I hold up my hand, "No, I need to be beaten up, so boss doesn't get any ideas." I try to stand but fail and fall back onto the ground, "Damn, you really beat him up!" Cross said to Dream. Dream gave a worried face, "I think you two should return back to the castle." Cross agrees and summons a portal, I get dizzy and pass out.
