Battle Of The Couples

Killer POV-

Since Outer tale, Nightmare has been nicer to me. He's been actually taking the liberty of being my lover and I honestly can't get over how bitter sweet he can be! First, we went on an actual date, then he started buying me nice things, and we kind of share a room now. It's different, but it's a different I can get used to as we move along in this relationship.

I also noticed that whenever I enter a room he acts nicer to everyone. I'm glad to see him be kind to those who want to follow him. I even saw him cook a meal for Horror! Though Horror has been acting different lately, he hasn't been eating that much and has been longing for something. I tried asking him what was the matter but he ignored me. Rude. 

Today, Nightmare has prepared a mission with a well-thought through plan. He's got everyone in different stand points and everyone has a specific job, except me? "What about me, boss?" I ask. Nightmare's gaze softens, I love when he looks at me like that.~ "I want you to attack from behind me. We can manage each other better if we watch out for each other. That goes for all of you, take care of each other and don't let anyone be under minded by the Stars." Nightmare said. Everyone nods and the plan is set in motion.

Nightmare and I will take attack in the front where our distance can be made for range attacks. Dust and Horror will take on Blue, Error will take on Ink, and Cross will take on Dream with Nightmare and I. Error always likes fighting Ink alone, I think it's because of their lustful tension. But I'm not aloud to mention that around Error or he gets pissed off. 

Nightmare POV-

I've finally figured out exactly how to take down the Stars and my team's emotional behavior to them. If I can get them to take on their lovers head on, they'll have no choice but to kill them! It's genius! Except for Horror, but I heard him and Blue are close friends and I can't have that. Everything is set; the location, the time, and the plan of attack. 

I even had everyone brush up on their skills in a long intensive training session. This will not fail and if it does then I'll make sure the Stars won't be bothering my team ever again. I can see it now... Cross will become weak around Dream and I will manage to take a hit at Dream through Cross, Error will have Ink in strings but won't hurt him until Killer gets a swing, and Blue will be easily taken down when Dust has finally seen what I have planned. 

It's time. I open a portal to a random AU with a neutral route and we head in to cause enough chaos for the Stars to show up. As monsters scream in terror and forests take flame, Error erasing a sliver of this AU's structure and then behold the Stars!

Dream POV-

"Nightmare! Your reign of terror on these innocent monsters are over!" I shout across the field. Nightmare's gang stops what their doing and commences their battle stances. I notice who's against who; Error and Ink, Blue against Horror and Dust, and Me against Cross, Nightmare, and Killer. A little uneven but I can see what Nightmare had in mind.

He wanted our weaknesses to become our down fall. Cross holds his blade unsteady and gives a worried expression that is seen on everyone else's faces. Except for Error who already got Ink tied up and Ink is flirting non-stop. As I give a quick nod, Cross weakly goes for an attack and I easily dodge but Killer swings his knife and I get a large cut on my arm. 

Nightmare's tentacles come at me next and I almost dodge them all. Luckily Cross was able to pull me with his magic a little without Nightmare noticing. I give him a quick smile before returning to battle mode. 

Blue POV-

Oh boy, this might be tricky. Dust isn't moving, he's summoning bone attacks but missing on purpose. Horror on the other hand is moving at me with quick speeds, his axe swinging at fast rates. He's apologizing after every swing but I can tell he's not trying to hurt me. 

I give a quick glance at Dust and he's getting his Gaster blasters ready to fire but if he keeps missing on purpose, Nightmare is bound to notice. I decide to take one for his team and allow my shoulder to be hit by his Gaster blaster, Nightmare notices and laughs while Dust looks terribly sorry. 

I give him a quick smile and he relaxes slightly but Horror decides to lunge at me again with his axe. "Horror, are you alright? You seem down?" I ask. He ignores me and keeps swinging, before I know it he ends up hitting right where Dust's Gaster blaster hit and I scream in pain.

Nightmare notices and grins, Dust on the other hand is fighting the urge to kill Horror. Horror, apologizes but the smell of blood slightly kicks in his instincts. 

Ink POV-

Damn, Error is fast today! He's catching me left and right but not doing much. He mostly holding me, "Error, these strings are taking any damage on their own unless you attack more." I tease. Error notices and tosses me on the ground, "Don't tease me, Kiki." I smirk, "But you love when I tease you when it's just the two of us~" Error blushes and tosses me again.

Nightmare seems annoyed with Error. I would hate for Nightmare to hurt Ruru so I took Error's strings and allowed them to strangle me for a few seconds. Long enough for Nightmare to notice and enough for Error to feel empathy. He stopped attacking after that.

W. POV-

By the time the fighting was over the Stars had enough damage to please Nightmare and upset their partners. Dust, Cross, and Error all knew they were doing it to keep them out of trouble but it still upset them to see the Stars struggle to keep going. Especially, when they cared for them so deeply now. 

Nightmare on the other hand took glory in knowing that he could get the couples to almost kill each other. His grin never left his face once and he couldn't help but beam with pride for a moment, only a moment. As they entered the portal, Nightmare and Killer went first which aloud time for the couples to quickly kiss good-bye and fully check on each other. 

Dust kissed Blue deeply and tried to heal him quickly. Cross kissed Dream's forehead and handed him a snack. Error lightly touched the side of Ink's skull before heading into the portal. All of them left with the promise to see each other at midnight as they left the AU. Horror was the last to enter and the last to feel sorry for himself.

He missed Farmer and wished Nightmare didn't know about him so he could too wait till midnight to sneak off to see him and give him one heck of a ride. 

Horror POV-

After all, you know what they say, save a horse have a farmer ride you.~
