A few hours have passed for a while since you were waiting up for your girlfriend, Sana. You didn't feel comfortable or safe without her holding you and making you feel secure.
You passed time by scrolling through Instagram and reading a few chapters of a new book you were reading. It was way after midnight and had just turned 2 in the morning. You were getting worried something may have happened so you texted her asking her if she was alright.
A few minutes passed and she responded saying she's in her car and is about to head home. You felt relieved that your girl would be coming home soon. You decided to play on a film while you waited for her
A Few Minutes Passing
After the film, you heard keys jingling and the door knob turning. Sana came home. You jumped out of your blanket and pushed it aside, running to her and almost collapsing on her. She giggled and grinned, holding your waist.
"Hey baby," she calmly whispered, hearing her voice just made your heart flutter after craving to hear her voice all day long.
"Hi," you looked at her and gave her small cute kisses to her warm, soft lips. "You're so cute, Y/N, you didn't have to wait up for me you know," she said, worrying that you're exhausted after staying up so late.
"It's okay, I chose to wait up for you. I wanted to be wrapped by you and we could cuddle while sleeping," you said, smiling and reassuring her it's fine.
"Well, now that I'm here and tomorrow's my day off, let's go cuddle and watch a film," she said and your eyes lit up, pulling her wrist softly to the living room.
She sat on the couch and held you close to her. While the film was playing and you were distracted by it, she was lovingly playing with your hair by making a few braids and twirling it around.
She softly and gently said in your ear, "I love you Y/N." You said the words back to her, "I love you too, Sana," you grinned from ear to ear. It was worth the wait after having these romantic and memorable moments that you could hold closely to your heart.
