deep deep into the bottomless abyss of freshwater, stood beautiful stone architecture designed to stand all manner of heat, cold, and concussive blasts. a palace, and a beautiful one at that.

and in the midst of this majestic architecture resided a well-groomed garden where water hyacinth, pickerelweed, nelumbo nucifera, and purple loosestrife roamed. and amid all the natural beauty were two mers giggling and laughing with one another; eagerly wanting to play outside of the palace grounds.
"uncle tae come on!" the little merboy whined while pulling onto the blue-haired omega's arm. the pretty boy giggled at the merboy's adorable pout.
"soobinnie we have to ask your parents first," the blue hair giggled, "come on!" the pretty boy laughed while pulling the little alpha into his hold and swam out of the palace gardens and into the kitchen area.
the duo chased through the crowded halls of the marble palace, swiftly dodging servants and staff members, until they reached the grand throne room.
the duo scanned the gilded room, aquamarine and larimar decorated the walls of the throne room complementing the gold accents, and allowing for a soothing blue and golden hue in the room.
but to the two mers surprise the king and queen were nowhere to be seen.
the two ran into the large palace kitchen area finding it bustling with maids and cooks rushing around preparing meals and setting up preparations.
"excuse me noona? have you seen joonie hyung?" taehyung asked.
the red-headed maid shook her head in response to the pretty prince, still using her red tentacles to arrange the plates into a pile, "his majesty may be getting ready for *fallible day my prince."
"let's go search their room binnie! thank you noona!"
in coming across the king and queen's bedroom, the pretty mer knocked on the gilded door "jinnie hyung, joonie hyung are you in there!" taehyung yelled.
with no reply, he placed his ear onto the polished marble and ivory door.
hearing soft thumps and moans of his brother's name from inside the mer covered the smaller boy's ears and backed him away from what he knows to be a "horrifying site".
